The teacher in my heart

author:Report from the Earth

Teaching is one of the oldest professions in human society. In social development, teachers are the inheritors and disseminators of scientific knowledge of human culture. For students, it is also the developer of students' intelligence and the shaper of personality. Therefore, people gave the high title of "engineer of the human soul" to the people's teachers. In rural areas of northern Jiangsu, there are many families who arrange teachers together with "heaven, earth, country, and relatives" to worship.

The teacher in my heart

Opening the floodgates of memory, many past events were shown in front of my eyes like a movie, and among the many past events, my most memorable was the teacher who taught us. When we were in school, dozens of teachers taught us successively, and their kindness will always be remembered, but it is difficult to express them all, and after careful consideration, we resolutely selected three representative teachers to remember.

Enlightenment teacher Sun Bingren

The teacher in my heart

On the morning of September 1, when I was 8 years old, I wore new clothes and carried an empty school bag and followed my third sister to school. The school is far from home, and it was my first time to go far and the first time I went to school, and I stopped and walked all the way, and it was not easy to step into the school gate.

This school is the only junior primary school in our village, called Kannan Primary School. The school was converted from a temple, the east wing was the teacher's office, dormitory and dormitory, and the west wing housed the abbot and several monks in the temple. Following the third sister to the teacher's office to register, I saw that the teacher's hair was gray, his face was full of wrinkles, he was wearing a top hat and a robe. The teacher's surname is Sun, and his name is Sun Bingren. Later, I heard that his family lived in Xinlong Village, his hometown, and he used to be a private school teacher. Later, I equated the portrait of Teacher Sun with Mr. Lu Xun.

All the bodhisattvas in the hall were cleared, and four rows of study tables were neatly arranged, each row of 10. Each row has a maximum of 20 students, and the whole school has 4 grades of students crammed together, only to learn later that this is called a "duplex" class. First-year students sit in the southernmost row, near the windows and plenty of sunlight. Then by grade and so on. On the west wall hangs a wooden blackboard, and in front of the blackboard is a podium. A bell rang and the teacher walked into the classroom. "Hello students"! "Hello teacher"! The teacher waved his hand and motioned for everyone to sit down. He said a few polite words, which was regarded as the opening ceremony. Then we walked to the freshmen's desk, and let us open the Chinese textbook and lift the cover, the title of the first lesson was "School Started". I seemed to understand whether I understood or not, staring at the teacher with both eyes, listening intently. After about ten minutes of talking, the teacher finished assigning homework and walked to the front of the second grade row. In this way, the four grades of class are rotated after a lesson, and some distracted students are able to "share" the content of the texts of other classes. After entering the normal teaching procedure, the teacher only teaches two grades of classes in each class, and the remaining two grades do homework and take turns to operate, which is hard for the teacher and convenient for the students. Teachers don't get breaks during class, and they have to correct homework after class, sometimes they don't care about eating, and they often can't sleep comfortably. Day after day, year after year, teacher Sun Bingren taught me for four years, and I grew from an ignorant child to a "three good students" with excellent grades, and served as a "class leader" for four consecutive years. Teacher Sun's character of selfless work for students is well known, and there is a passage in the village: "The principal works part-time, ringing the bell in class; Make your own meals and sleep in the temple."

Guest Principal Kashiwa Youfang

The teacher in my heart

In the fall semester of the fifth grade, I transferred to Yinnan Primary School. The school is rebuilt from the famous Dragon King Temple in the Shenzao area, and is located between Group 7 of Kowloon Village and Group 3 of Shuanglong Village. This is a designated primary school in Shenzao Township, which undertakes the important task of studying in primary schools for children in six villages, including Jiulong, Shuanglong, Hongda, Tangming, and Zhuyuan. Yinnan Primary School is the same as Cannan Primary School in that grades 1 to 4 are in one classroom, and grades 5 and 6 are each occupied by one classroom. In front of our fifth-grade classroom, there is an old white fruit tree, which is hugged by four people and is more than five feet tall. In the past, people often came to burn incense and worship Buddha, and later parents sent their children to study in this treasure of feng shui, hoping to become talents in the future. Children do not rely on the blessing of bodhisattvas, but rely on their own hard work, guidance and supervision by parents, and more on the hard work of teachers, and educational methods and management levels are the top priority.

The teacher in my heart

The first lesson we gave was a middle-aged teacher who introduced himself, "My name is Kashiwa Youfang." "Wow"! A scream suddenly sounded in the classroom. The students did not know the teacher, but they knew that Bai Youfang was the principal. Soon, the classroom was silent, listening attentively. When the teacher asked the students to answer the question, I was eager to express myself and raised my hand high, but the teacher called another student to answer. I thought to myself that you didn't know that my junior high school performance had been very good, and when he asked another question, I quickly raised my hand again. This time the teacher finally saw it and asked me to answer. I proudly answered the answer completely, waiting to receive the praise. But I thought wrong. The teacher just said lightly: "Well, good." "It hit me hard.

A few days later, the first math test was held, and I got a perfect score and came out on top of my class. When I got the test paper, I was very happy and very proud in front of my classmates. After class, the teacher said that he would give a lecture on the examination paper, and I thought to myself, the teacher must praise me. But I heard the teacher say that humility makes people progress, and pride makes people backward. Once again, I felt the teacher's indifference and partiality. Since then, I haven't liked him very much.

After a few more days, I caught a cold and caught a cold. After class, the teacher took me into the dormitory, took out two pills, and poured half a cup of hot water. Then, he wrote a paragraph in an exercise book: "Sorry, sometimes the teacher deliberately does not praise you because you are so easy to be proud, and I don't want you to regress because of this." Seeing this passage, I suddenly felt that the teacher cared about me. Since then, "modesty" has become my motto. Until now, the teacher's teaching voice still echoes in my ears.

Bai Youfang is a Hakka intellectual whose hometown is in Jiangdu County, Yangzhou City. In 1952, in response to the call of the state, he resolutely abandoned the superior working environment and living conditions in the city, took his wife and 8-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter to the coastal area to teach with his family, and was assigned to Shenzao Township Yinnan Primary School as the principal. They are proud that they have two sons, a grandson and a granddaughter, all of whom are teachers, making them a veritable family of educators. What made him feel even more gratifying was that peach and plum were all over the world.

The teacher in my heart

Haimen's eldest brother Wu Songlin

The teacher in my heart

Another autumn, I walked into the door of Shen Zao Junior High School. At that time, Shen Zao Junior High School had more than 200 students and more than 20 teachers. Eight teachers taught our class politics, Chinese, mathematics, physics, chemistry, geography and history. One of them, a young teacher in his early twenties with a Haimen accent, stands out. He is not tall, and his limbs are characterized by strong muscles; His skin is not white, but it is shiny; In class, his voice was not loud, but there was not the slightest noise in class. His name is Wu Songlin, and he is our physics teacher.

Teacher Wu Songlin's family lives in Chengfeng Village, Nanyang Township, this county, and his ancestral home belongs to Haimen County. Before liberation, his grandfather moved from Haimen to Dafeng, and the family was still accustomed to speaking "Qihai dialect". In 1960, Wu Songlin graduated from Jiangsu Provincial Institute of Education, and was retained to teach because of his outstanding academic performance. Wu Songlin has 8 siblings, and his mother died of illness when she was 40 years old. He was the eldest son and obligated to help his father take up the burden of the family, and the next year he asked to return to Dafeng and was arranged to teach at Shen Zao Junior High School.

The teacher in my heart

At first, the students were not so concerned about Teacher Wu. When I saw that the chalk words written by Mr. Wu on the blackboard were like dragons flying and phoenix dances, and they were very strong and powerful, they were all impressed. In particular, the circles drawn by Mr. Wu on the blackboard with chalk are always made in one go, exactly the same as those drawn with instruments, which is really impressive. Some people praised Mr. Wu Songlin's versatility, while others called him an all-around champion. In addition to teaching physics, he also taught algebra and geometry. At the same time, he is proficient in music and art. Especially sports: basketball, badminton, table tennis, high jump, long jump, long-distance running, everything. What shocked Shen Zao people was that in a town-wide militia competition, when Wu Songlin participated in throwing a grenade, he actually threw a grenade from the north end of the school playground to the wasteland outside the southern end of the playground, 73.6 meters, more than 20 meters more than other players, and broke the county's grenade throwing record at the same time!

Teacher Wu Songlin is also an approachable person. In class, he is meticulous and serious. After class, especially on holidays, he talked and laughed with his classmates, and before we graduated from junior high school, he actually called brothers and brothers with a few of us boys who played well, because he was a descendant of Haimen people, we affectionately called him "big brother Haimen". He spread his hands, "What Haimen Haimen, call the eldest brother!" ”

Teacher Wu Songlin is a person who pursues excellence and has the courage to take responsibility. After graduating from junior high school, he kept hearing the good news of Mr. Wu's growth and progress: he joined the party organization with honor, was promoted to the head of the school's mathematics teaching and research group, became a member of the school committee's leadership team, and the director of the school's revolutionary committee. In 1978, Wu Songlin was transferred to Xiaohai Middle School as the vice principal. In 1981, Wu Songlin was transferred to Xituan Middle School as the principal. Every time he changes a position and every time he arrives at a school, Wu Songlin always unites and leads everyone to work hard and create good results. In 1990, Wu Songlin, as the only representative of the Dafeng education system, went to Beijing to participate in the National Physics Self-made Teaching Tools Commendation Conference and was commended. At the same time, he was invited to participate in the opening ceremony of the Beijing Asian Games, which is the glory bestowed on him by the party and the people, and also the result of his persistent struggle.

Time is like an arrow, the sun and the moon are like a shuttle. In the blink of an eye, more than half a century has passed. The two primary schools I used to study were withdrawn due to the decrease in the number of students, and the three mentors of the enlightenment teacher, the guest principal and the Haimen brother, as well as most of the teachers who had educated me, passed away one after another, and their voices and smiles will always be engraved in my heart.
