The large-scale period TV series "New World" was broadcast on the boutique theater of Jiangsu Variety Channel on September 7. This play tells the legendary story of the three brothers Jin Hai (played by Sun Honglei), Tie Lin (played by Zhang Luyi) and Xu Tian (played by Yin Fang) on the eve of the peaceful liberation of Beiping in 1949, surviving and finding the "way" in the big era, showing the impact, influence, choice and change encountered by the three opposite-sex brothers in Beijing at the historical juncture of the replacement of the old and the new.
This play takes the story of Jinhai, Tie Lin and Xu Tian "disrupting the situation" in Beiping as the main line, and shows the chivalry and emotions of small people in the big era through the brotherhood of life and death and common hardship between the three brothers.
Xu Tian, Jinhai, and Tie Lin are all ordinary people living in this Beiping City, and they all have their own life trajectories.
The eldest brother Jin Hai played by Sun Honglei has a righteous and persistent side, as well as a domineering and ruthless side, and often says "make peace for you" in the play; The second brother Tie Lin, played by Zhang Luyi, has a bad fate and is a character with a complex identity; The third brother Xu Tian, played by Yin Fang, has the heroism of a hot-blooded teenager.
The "three brothers of Beiping", who had worshiped their son, took care of each other in the chaotic times and agreed to go south together, but they were shelved because Xu Tian's fiancée Jia Xiaoduo was killed, as brothers, Jinhai and Tielin must help Xu Tian find the little red jacket, only in this way can the three go south together before the peaceful liberation of Beiping. In this way, the reversal of the fate of the country is entangled with personal choices, the small people glimpse the changes of the big era, and the big turns entangle ordinary people are inseparable.
"New World" puts the core of the portrayal on small characters, which are different from previous creations, not all of them are positive characters of Wei Guangzheng, it is precisely because of this that the entire TV series has a more vivid sense of restoration and era. It is precisely because of their existence that the preciousness and respect of the communists represented by Tian Dan have been highlighted; in that chaotic era, on the eve of the advent of the new world, even if the form is complex and severe, our communists are still not afraid of danger, fight to the end, and inspire the people to meet the new China with new ideas.
"New World" most realistically restores the style of Beiping City before and after liberation: the old Beijing hutongs crisscrossing an area of 400 acres, the big fence with the strong city gas of all living beings, Jingshi Prison, Temple of Heaven Airport, Xuanwumen Street, unfolded a floating painting of the Republic of China style for the audience. Through the portrayal of these small details and small people, the whole picture of old Beijing in 1949 is presented, which instantly pulls people into a vivid and three-dimensional historical picture and integrates into the story on the eve of the great changes of the great era.
The details once again evoke the memories of the founding of a generation, which is also the guarantee that "New World" has the quality of the era drama, these real and palpable scenes, as well as the characters and lives in the scene, can make the audience clearly feel the power of the times when the old and new worlds alternate, the fate and choices of ordinary people in the big era, friendship, love, family affection are intertwined and rendered, there is flesh and blood and connotation, giving "New World" a unique warm charm.
