With the start of school season
Scammers are ready to move
Various means are emerging
Impersonating a teacher to enter a class group
Recently, a number of parents in Liaoning reported that fraudsters had mixed into the class group, changed their avatar and nickname to be consistent with the class teacher, and posted news in the group in the tone of the class teacher.
Many parents paid the "textbook fee" without identification, until the class teacher found out and stopped it in the group chat.
Scammers often pass
There are several ways to join the group
1. Fraudsters can directly search for the keywords of the class group name on QQ, and a large number of public group chat information will appear, and you can enter after the application is approved.
2. Some teachers will write the class QQ group number (teacher's WeChat ID, QQ number, mobile phone number) directly on the blackboard or make it public, giving fraudsters an opportunity.
3. Fraudsters publish false advertisements such as free skin delivery in online games, requiring students to share the class group QR code to prove their student identity in order to receive benefits.
4. Fraudsters linger at the school gate, get close to other parents, get relevant information, disguise themselves as students' parents, and obtain class group QR codes. Since many group chat settings do not have the "group owner confirmation" function enabled, fraudsters can directly scan the code to join the group.
Analysis of scams
After the fraudster enters the class group, he lurks in the group, and after mastering the teacher's speaking style and work and rest rules, he downloads the teacher's avatar, copies the teacher's nickname, quickly creates a high-imitation account, and uses the teacher's work and rest time difference to release payment information, so that the real teacher cannot be discovered in time.
Fraudsters often choose group red envelopes, group collections, Alipay collection codes, etc., and many parents will respond immediately when they see the teacher's notice.
Police tips
Do not easily announce the class group, do not easily recruit people into the group. Fraudsters take advantage of the trust of students' parents in teachers, and generally respond positively as soon as possible, so as to carry out fraud.
Keep an eye on your child's phone watch
Between April and May this year, the Nankang District Public Security Bureau in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, frequently received reports:
Some parents of students reported that their calling cards were suddenly deactivated, and at the same time, their children's calling cards were inexplicably lost.
The police carefully investigated in combination with relevant clues and found a common point, these abnormal calling cards are usually bound to a secondary card, and this supplementary card is generally used by the cardholder's own child through the phone watch. When the operator identifies an abnormality in the secondary card, the primary card will be shut down.
During the investigation, the police found that the mobile phones used to call the missing phone card numbers were the same mobile phones, and suspected that a gang specializing in making fraudulent calls appeared in the area.

Liu Junjie, a police officer of the Anti-fraud Center, said,
Discovered through technical analysis
The user of this phone is a person surnamed Zhang.
"He said he lost his phone, and we checked the phone and found that the phone was sold to a mobile phone store, and a person surnamed Huang bought the mobile phone here."
The police judged that Zhang and Huang should belong to the same gang, and investigators arrested them all after obtaining the exact location of the suspects.
According to Zhou Yuzhe, a police officer at the Hengshi Police Station of the Nankang District Public Security Bureau in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, a total of 5 criminal suspects have been investigated and dealt with, two of whom are under criminal compulsory measures, and the case is still being further investigated.
Telecom fraud is inseparable from mobile phone cards,
But the mobile phone card needs to be registered with a real name,
In order to evade police pursuit,
The criminals hit the idea of a children's phone watch.
How did they trick the phone watch from the child's hand and steal the SIM card inside?
Through visits to schools and a large number of videos of public places, the police found that between April and May this year, around many primary and secondary schools in Nankang District, some young people roaming on electric vehicles or motorcycles frequently appeared, and when they saw primary school students, they would come forward to talk to them.
Tan Dianlei, a police officer at the Anti-fraud Center of the Nankang District Public Security Bureau in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, said that a strange man riding an electric car asked a primary school student returning home from school, and borrowed a phone watch from the primary school student to make a phone call on the grounds of downtime and no electricity. The two were still talking, and after the elementary school student let down his guard, he secretly ran to the side, in fact, he was disassembling the mobile phone card.

Generally, they will pick the fourth grade and below
And students who go to school alone talk to each other
The police told reporters that after obtaining mobile phone cards obtained through these illegal channels, criminals will use a device called "GOIP" to carry out telecommunications network fraud.
GOIP is a hardware device for network communication, which supports mobile phone card access, can be operated by hundreds of SIM cards at the same time, and can convert traditional telephone signals into network signals; At the same time, you can dial virtually, arbitrarily switch mobile phone numbers to call the victim. It also supports remote control, remote phone calls, sending and receiving text messages.
