NBD: As the chief quality officer of iFLYTEK, how do you understand the connotation of high-quality development of enterprises?

Wang Hongxing: In my opinion, the high-quality development of enterprises includes three aspects: First, the advanced nature of technology is the most core element of high-quality development, and the key to high-quality development is to keep technology at the world-leading level. Technology is the best tool to promote high quality, only when technology progresses, the quality can continue to improve, and the satisfaction brought by the product to users in all aspects will be improved.

The second element of high-quality development of enterprises is the management level, which should start from various links such as "research, production, supply, marketing and service management", start from subtle aspects, and comprehensively improve the management level of each link, so as to achieve high quality management.

The third element is user satisfaction, and high-quality development must ultimately be reflected in user satisfaction. No matter how high the technical level and how advanced the management level, if users are not satisfied with the technology, products and services we provide, then high-quality development is just an empty phrase.

NBD: For companies at different stages of development, is there a need to emphasize high-quality development?

Wang Hongxing: Whether it is a start-up, growth or expansion stage, enterprises should clearly emphasize the importance of high-quality development and integrate it into the corporate culture. Only by being guided by high quality can enterprises be invincible in the fierce market competition and achieve the goal of sustainable development.

First of all, with the intensification of market competition and the continuous improvement of consumer demand, users have higher and higher requirements for product quality and service experience. Only through high-quality products and services can enterprises stand out in the market and win the trust and loyalty of users.

Secondly, high quality is the key to sustainable development of enterprises. Low-quality products will not only lose market competitiveness, but also may have a negative impact and damage the reputation and image of the enterprise.

NBD: Is the AI industry currently in a stage of high-quality development?

Wang Hongxing: I very much agree that the artificial intelligence industry is currently in a stage of high-quality development, and this year is a year of high-quality development of artificial intelligence, including the next few years.

The breakthrough of cognitive large model technology has made the development of general artificial intelligence truly realize the "emergence of wisdom", the singularity of artificial intelligence may have arrived in advance, and general artificial intelligence can listen, see, understand, and think like a person. It turns out that it only has the unilateral ability of a person, which we call weak artificial intelligence, which can hear, speak, move, and see, but it can't be like the human brain. Now it is already evolving in this direction, so I think it will be high-quality development in the next few years.

Large models change quality management: human-computer interaction mode, system improvement, standard improvement

NBD: What opportunities and challenges will today's hot generative AI big models bring to enterprise quality management?

Wang Hongxing: First of all, let's talk about opportunities. First, it has changed the mode of human-computer interaction in traditional quality management and has become collaboration with large models. For example, it turns out that in the enterprise to manage quality, in the research, production, supply, marketing and service management of various processes are faced with standards, inspection, testing, etc. With a large model, it can become an interaction between people and a large model.

Large models can assist in many things, such as the process of quality inspection, and even achieve whole-process, all-element preventive quality management. For example, you can ask the big model, how is the quality level, whether it meets the standard, the big model can become a professional quality expert assistant within the enterprise through its own learning and training, and the large model will become a part of the enterprise after learning and training its own knowledge base within the enterprise.

Second, the large model can help enterprises improve their quality management system. Large models have a process of autonomous evolution and self-learning. Once the large model of privatization is deployed internally, it can learn the quality-related knowledge base such as various regulations, operating procedures, requirements, and improvement cases of the enterprise's own quality management to help improve the quality management system.

Third, for enterprises, after the internal deployment of large models, the improvement of quality levels will be driven by improving the standard level.

Because with a large model, the standard may have to be greatly improved. The original standard may be the standard for enterprises. When a large model is used, it is possible to stand on the shoulders of a giant. Because the general large model has reached the level of a doctoral student, after retraining and fine tuning in the enterprise, it has reached the level of a top expert, at this time the standard can be improved, and the quality level can be improved in all links.

On the one hand, the privacy and security of enterprise data is the challenge. Big models include computing power, data, model algorithms, when large models are deployed to enterprises, in fact, the core is still enterprise data, data quality, security, privacy, will pose challenges to enterprises in data security management.

Another challenge is the challenge of the knowledge base of quality management talents. In the enterprise to do quality personnel, most of the mastery of new technologies is not much, like large models still need to have some deep technology in it, so the challenge to quality management talents is not small. [Quality managers] need to learn to interact with large models, learn to use large models, and learn how to retrain and refine large models in the enterprise.

Digitalization is the infrastructure for high-quality development

NBD: How do you understand the role of digital technology in the high-quality development of enterprises?

Wang Hongxing: Digitalization has become the infrastructure for the high-quality development of enterprises, and it is an indispensable thing.

Assuming that there is no informatization and digitalization, there is no way to do high-quality development, it is impossible to rely on the original traditional "slash and burn", use forms, documents and other ways to manage modern equipment, especially processing processes such as advanced manufacturing, intelligent factories and other processing processes are impossible to lack digitalization.

NBD: At present, many enterprises are afraid to do digital because they are afraid that the investment in digital transformation will be too large and the return will be too small. As the CIO of iFLYTEK, what experience can you share in measuring the input-output ratio of digital transformation?

Wang Hongxing: The first point is that it is completely possible to measure the input-output ratio of information from real data, and there are many measurement models in the industry, which can be referenced. According to the experience of iFLYTEK, our annual information input-output ratio can basically reach 2:1, that is, one dollar can bring two dollars to the enterprise. Therefore, you may think that the input of informatization is relatively large on the surface, but assuming careful calculation, you will find that the output is larger than the input.

Second, digitalization has a very good promotion of corporate culture, tonality, employee work awareness, and working habits. The in-depth application of enterprise digital technology will change the traditional working mode of an enterprise and change the mode of collaboration between people.
