The exhibition area of the Jiangxi Provincial Museum has the largest existing collection of pre-Qin bronze tigers: Shang Dynasty bronze tiger Fu Bird, and Erwei. Unearthed in 1989 in the tomb of merchants in Dayangzhou, Xingan County, the artifact is a magnificent bronze work of Shang dynasty art that reveals the worship of the tiger totem more than 3,000 years ago.

Xu Changqing, secretary of the party committee of the Jiangxi Provincial Museum, said that in the Yangshao Cultural Tomb in Puyang, Henan Province, more than 6,000 years ago, a shaman made tigers and dragons from the left and right sides of shells, which means that wizards made dragons and tigers to control the travel between heaven and earth.
