In the ThingsKit IoT platform, devices refer to various physical devices or sensors connected to a network that can collect and transmit data and can be accessed and controlled remotely over the network. The devices in the IoT platform can be of various types, such as smart home devices, sensors, smart terminals, cameras, etc., which can be managed and monitored through the IoT platform to achieve data collection and transmission to provide support for various applications.

Add a new device

Click Device Management to add a device, fill in the device-related information and associated products, and confirm the new device.

Assign customers

Assign devices to customers.

Device exposure

Once a device is exposed, the device's data can be accessed by others. For example: Kanban management, configuration design, etc. If the device is not exposed, the shared dashboard management cannot display the data.

Device import

Click Import, select the organization, device type, and product, upload the pre-templated downloaded and modified device content, and click Next to import the device successfully.
