How do rural children celebrate their birthdays? Ever eaten cake? Mom and Dad are busy with work all day, do they have time to spend with their children? In order to let more children spend an unforgettable birthday together, volunteers and teachers from the Women's College of Xi'an Peihua University came to the children in the autumn rainy season and held a warm children's group birthday party at the Little Crested Ibis Children's Service Station in Wangqu Village on August 26, 2023.
When the children walked into the Little Crested Ibis Children's Service Station, they couldn't help but cheer "Wow, we have cake to eat", and their little faces were full of bright smiles. In the group activities, each child received carefully prepared small gifts and delicious cakes, and the volunteer teachers who celebrated their birthday that month also actively participated in the activities, singing, dancing and talking picture books with the children, making them feel more love and care.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you..." As the birthday song sounded, the children clapped their hands happily, made good wishes in front of the cake together, and smiled joyfully, making the whole group birthday party filled with a strong atmosphere of peace, joy and happiness.
It is said that the birth of a child is a mother's day of suffering. The class teacher invited the grandparents and mothers present to share their birthday experiences when they were children, and used the form of sharing birthday stories to let the children understand the hard work of their parents and their love for their children, so that the children could learn to be grateful. I am grateful to my parents for giving them life and for their attentive care. Grateful to teachers and classmates, make their learning more rewarding, grateful to the family and community where they grew up, planted the imprint of community culture in their hearts, grateful to the society, under the leadership of the party, gave children a social system of healthy and happy growth without worrying about food and clothing. Thanks to the state, various laws have been formulated to protect minors and care for the happy growth of children.
At this moment, the children listened to the story, quietly pondered, thanked their parents, and said "I love you" affectionately to their parents and grandparents.
The candle represents the wish, and the burning candle contains a growth, a health! The beautiful candlelight carries the children's good hopes and yearns for tomorrow!
In this activity, the children felt the birthday atmosphere and also experienced the joy of the collective birthday, felt the warmth of the big family of the little crested ibis children's service station, and the children's subconscious learned to share, learn to be grateful, and enjoy the joy of childhood!
The grandparents and mothers present also felt that this form of birthday celebration was very good. Let children learn to be grateful in the touching, a child eating cake at home is not unaffordable, but a group of people sharing, will infect and educate each other. I hope that such activities will be held once a month so that more children can be educated!
