In May 2023, instead of ending a career that has not achieved much for more than 30 years but has made a living, I want to celebrate the beginning of retirement in an unusual way. So there was this "extreme crossing" trip: departing from Beihai on April 25, from June 27 to 103 kilometers in the 7G219 Kanas scenic spot, a total journey of 17,787 kilometers, lasting 62 days, completing the long-cherished wish of traveling to G219. The return journey lasted for nearly a month, covering 10,000 kilometers, and returned to Beihai on July 24.

The biggest gain from this journey of nearly three months and more than 30,000 kilometers is a deeper understanding of the meaning of the classic saying "the world is a book, and those who do not travel only read one page", and what made me sigh even more is as Wang Anshi summarized in "Travels to Chanshan Mountain": "If the husband is near, there are many tourists, and if the danger is far, there are few." And the wonders, strangeness, and extraordinary views of the world often lie in the dangers, and people are rare, so those who do not have aspirations cannot reach them. There is ambition and strength, but not slack, and as for darkness and confusion and nothing to match, it cannot be reached."
Due to his own humble knowledge, this trip missed a lot of "strangeness", "extraordinary views" and humanities, and there were more objective reasons to not be able to experience the Tasha Ancient Road, the Izao Highway, and the G219 for 102 kilometers in the Kanas landscape and could not travel, but "those who cannot reach it with all their will, can have no regrets".
