Summer League is over, let's see how the 14 lotto picks performed this year, whether they deserve their picks, who can become superstars in the future, and who will become parallel goods?

Champion Venbanyama (Spurs)

2023 Summer League Lotto Show Technical Statistics – Who Can Become a Superstar and Who Will Become a Parallel Trader?

Statistics: played 2 games, averaged 27.2 minutes per game, contributed 18 points, 10 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.5 steals, 4 blocks and 3 turnovers, shooting 40.7% and 30% three-pointers

Champion Man Banyama played in just two matches, shooting just 2 of 13 in the first game, much to the disappointment of all who expected him. While he still looked rough on the offensive end in Game 2, he was highly effective with 27 points on 14 shots, with a total of 8 blocks and 1 steal in his two games, which made it easier to have confidence in his defense. The talent on display so far in Venbanyama still makes him a favorite for the best rookie.

List Eye Miller (Wasp)

2023 Summer League Lotto Show Technical Statistics – Who Can Become a Superstar and Who Will Become a Parallel Trader?

Statistics: played 3 games, averaged 30.5 minutes per game, contributed 17.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1 steal, 1 block and 1 turnover, shooting 35.4% and 26.1% three-pointers

In the summer league in Las Vegas, the list showed three games and made some progress, you must know that in the previous Salt Lake City summer league, Miller contributed 6 turnovers, 7 fouls and 4 turnovers and 8 fouls in two games, and his Hornets also suffered two big losses.

Miller is known for his shooting ability and maturity, rookies like Ventanyama and Henderson are only 19 years old, and he is currently 21 years old, I thought he would kill in the summer league, but the result was a big disappointment, maybe bring Jordan Buff, if there must be a water in the top spot, then the probability is Miller, Miller urgently needs to prove himself.

Fortunately, the Hornets already have excellent point guard and core leader LaMelo Ball, which allows Miller to only shoot and defend well in official games.

Tanhua Henderson (Trailblazer)

2023 Summer League Lotto Show Technical Statistics – Who Can Become a Superstar and Who Will Become a Parallel Trader?

Statistics: Participated in 1 game, played 21.3 minutes, contributed 15 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal and 2 turnovers, shooting 38.5% and three-pointers 33.3%

Henderson played only one summer league game due to injury, and in this game, unlike the leaderboard struggle, the scouts looked comfortable while showing all the elements of his game. He is explosive, can create open opportunities for teammates, plays sensibly without forcing shots or dominating the ball, and when defenders are in place, he knows how to handle the ball, in short, he is extremely efficient and reasonable.

We don't know when Damian Lillard will be traded or if he will play before being traded, and even if he does, Henderson will have to compete for the ball with Anfini Simmons, Sherdon Sharp and possibly those who came from the trade, but, given the talent and ability Henderson has shown so far, he should be the new head of this team.

Show 4 Amen Thompson (Rockets)

2023 Summer League Lotto Show Technical Statistics – Who Can Become a Superstar and Who Will Become a Parallel Trader?

Statistics: played 1 game, played 28.4 minutes, contributed 16 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, 4 blocks and 2 turnovers, shooting 46.2% and 100% three-pointers

Like Scout Henderson, Amen played just one game – ironically, against Henderson – after injuring his ankle and suspended until pre-season.

Amen's athleticism is top-notch, defenders are often overtaken, his layup finishing ability is also very good, he can complete the finish with both left and right hands, and he also makes full use of his athleticism defensively, and contributes 4 blocks and 3 steals. Passing ability, vision, accuracy and speed, these all delight Rockets fans.

Amen is not currently showing his shooting ability, presumably everyone will not have too high expectations, Amen can immediately play and contribute, but the Rockets have basically completed the rebuild, the starting five is likely to be VanVleet, Jaylen Green, Dillon Brooks, Jabari Smith and Shin Kyung, Amen will have to start from the bench.

No. 5 Ossar Thompson (Pistons)

Statistics: played 4 games, played 29.2 minutes, averaged 13.5 points, 10 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.3 steals, 1.8 blocks and 2.8 turnovers, shooting 46.5% and three-pointers 27.3%

The Thompson brothers play very similarly, but Amen is the better point guard and Ossar is the better wing. We always thought Ossar didn't have the ability to shoot, but he shot 46.5% from the field in four games, which is the highest in the lottery show except for Lively who eats pie.

Even though Amen may have a better future, Ossar may have more opportunities in his rookie season. Detroit's flank rotation is weak, with Osar's main contenders being mainly Joe Harris, Isaiah Livers and Alec Burks, and Orsal will have more opportunities than Amen, possibly starting from the first game, or perhaps he can gain a foothold earlier.

Show 6 Anthony Black (Magic)

Statistics: played 3 games, played 28.4 minutes, averaged 11 points, 8.7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, 0.7 blocks and 4 turnovers, shooting 40.6% from the field, 16.7% from three-pointers and 54.5% from the free throw line

Like Brandon Miller, Black's summer league performance has been mixed, averaging 8.7 rebounds per game as a tall point guard, but four assists accompanied by four turnovers, shooting just 16.7 percent from three-point range and 54.5 percent from the free throw line.

Considering that the Magic currently have champion Fultz on point guard, No. 5 pick Suggs, and Anthony Cole, who has a certain combat effectiveness, and the last champion Banchero is also the core of the ball, if Black can't show more in a short period of time, he is likely to become a high-pick parallel product.

No. 7 Koulibaly (Wizards)

Statistics: played 4 games, played 30.5 minutes, averaged 12.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2 assists, 0.5 steals, 2.3 blocks and 2.5 turnovers, shooting 40.5% and three-pointers 18.2%

Koulibaly, he is tall and arm-length, he is also very good at offensive and defensive conversion, knows how to use his body, and shoots badly, which makes us easily reminiscent of the last high pick from France, Nilikina, the two are so similar, but Nilikina is already watery.

Koulibaly's defense is trustworthy, he averaged 2.2 blocks per game in four Summer League games, and luckily for Binilikina, the Washington Wizards have a shallow and poor roster and don't have any pursuit of a record, so Koulibaly can get a lot of playing time, and the team has plenty of time waiting for him to grow.

Show 8 Jaras Walker (Pacers)

Statistics: played 4 games, played 30.1 minutes, averaged 14.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.3 steals, 1.3 blocks and 2.3 turnovers, shooting 34%, three-pointers 17.9%, free throws 44.4%

Walker has been aggressive in his four Summer League games, averaging 17.5 shots per game, but his shooting percentage is extremely crotch-pulling, and the three shooting percentages together will exceed 90%, which is the kind of dish and love to shoot, but in fact, Walker's monetization is not particularly bad.

Walker is physically strong, and he showed his versatility and basketball skills in the Summer League, covering and playing off the ball, breaking through with the ball and giving assists, defending and stealing, and even using European steps and throws.

Despite his poor summer league shooting, he showed enough that Walker has a good chance of becoming a starting power forward for the Pacers, perhaps with 30 minutes of playing time right away, and perhaps a player like Randle in the future.

Show 9 Hendrix (Jazz)

Due to a hamstring injury, Hendrix did not play in summer league.

No. 10 Carson Wallace (Thunder)

Statistics: played 5 games, played 26.7 minutes, averaged 11 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.4 steals, 0.2 blocks and 2.8 turnovers, shooting 34.6% and three-pointers 38.7%

Wallace is a point guard who is a valuable point guard for the Thunder, he was good at defense in college, had a terrifying 3.7 steal percentage when playing for Kentucky, and Alex Caruso, the best in the league last season, was only 3.0, and thus entered the best defensive team.

Wallace is average on the offensive end, but fortunately he can shoot three-pointers, and his defensive and three-point skills can ensure his foothold in the league, but as an open position, his assist-to-error ratio is extremely poor, and he has 14 turnovers after 13 assists.

The Thunder already have Alexander on point guard, and Wallace will compete with Isaiah Joe, Kenritch Williams, Aaron Wiggins, Vasilye Mišić and others for the first bench, and it seems that there is little competitive pressure.

Show 11 Jett Howard (Magic)

Statistics: played 3 games, played 29.3 minutes, averaged 13.3 points, 3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 13 steals, 0.7 blocks and 2.7 turnovers, shooting 38.5%, three-point field goal 40%

Howard's selection at No. 11 surprised many, and his summer performance didn't shut up his skeptics, and while shooting the highest three-point percentage of any lottery pick, the overall shot wasn't actually ideal.

Howard will definitely start off the bench, after all, the team already has Banchero and Wagner, Howard does not seem to have any chance to challenge these two, not even Wendell Carter and Isaac, the prospect is very worrying.

Show 12 Derek Lively (Lone Ranger)

Statistics: played 5 games, played 23.4 minutes, averaged 8.4 points, 8 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.2 steals, 0.6 blocks and 1.8 turnovers, shooting 68% and free throws 53.3%

Lively was everywhere on the court, he was very active, very physical, and always trying to squeeze around the basket to grab a rebound. He was an excellent offensive rebounder, grabbing 23.4 offensive rebounds in 3.5 minutes.

He also leaves something to be desired, averaging only 8.0 points per game, shooting 60.0% from the field and a measly 53.3% from the free-throw line, in addition to contributing 0.8 blocks and 0.2 steals, but his great athleticism makes him a more influential defender than those numbers show.

Lively had to compete for playing time with Jon Holmes, Maxi Kléber, Dwight Powell and Javir McGee. As a rookie, it is likely to start as a substitute, but the prospects are very promising, after all, these competitors are not very good, they may be sent away at any time, and it is likely to become Capela next to Doncic in the future.

No. 13 Grady Dick (Raptors)

Statistics: played 4 games, played 28.2 minutes, averaged 16 points, 6 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.5 steals, 0.3 blocks and 2.8 turnovers, shooting 40% and three-pointers 29.6%

Dick wasn't very physical, but he was very good at running off the ball, and his first game was terrible, but he solved the problem in the second, third and fourth games. He shot just 40/30/89 from the field, but he was also extremely aggressive, averaging 15.0 shots per game. In NBA games, Dick will be more efficient. Dick's assist-to-error ratio (9:11) is poor, but he may not have many opportunities to hold the ball in NBA games.

In the Raptors, where the front line is crowded, Dick's shots are important so that he can get real playing time immediately.

No. 14 Jordan Hawkins (Pelicans)

Statistics: played 5 games, played 28.1 minutes, averaged 12.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.8 steals and 3.4 turnovers, shooting 31.9%, three-pointers 25%, free throws 52.6%

Hawkins was an S-class goalscorer in college, but only played in the F-Division in the summer league. 31.9 percent overall shooting, 25 percent three-pointers, and 52.6 percent free throws, all of which don't match the shooter's identity.

All his weaknesses were exposed. He didn't have good ball control and couldn't make his teammates better, he had to miss three times after 2 assists, and his lack of athleticism and thin stature also affected the breakout finish, and he needed to learn how to shoot throws, otherwise most of his layups would be the best five blocks of the day. The Pelicans' current full roster, combined with a crotch-pulling summer league performance, makes it likely that Hawkins will only be bench-worn most of the time.

Show 16 Kiyant George (Sir)

Statistics: Averaged 21.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game, shooting 52.3% and 3-pointers 44.4%

Show 20 Cam Whitmore (Rockets)

2023 Summer League Lotto Show Technical Statistics – Who Can Become a Superstar and Who Will Become a Parallel Trader?

Statistics: Averaged 19.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.5 steals, 0.5 blocks and 2.3 turnovers per game, shooting 44.7% and 28.6% three-pointers, winning the Summer League MVP

No. 30 Kobe Brown (Clippers)

Statistics: 15.2 points, 7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.8 steals and 1 block per game, shooting 45.8% and 33.3% three-pointers
