BYD's new generation of mainstream mid-size sedan! Interior drawings of the Seal DM-i were officially revealed

author:Talking about cars

As an important measure to achieve the "dual carbon" goal, the prospect of electrification of passenger cars is undoubted, but in the current environment where traditional internal combustion engine vehicles are still absolutely dominant, how to promote their energy conservation and emission reduction is equally important. Since the release of the revised version of the "Measures for the Parallel Management of Passenger Car Enterprise Average Fuel Consumption and New Energy Vehicle Credits" issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, energy-saving vehicles have been included, and hybrid technology is essential for traditional fuel vehicles to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction. As a leader in the hybrid field, BYD naturally has to set an example. Previously, BYD Ocean Network officially announced that the first B+ class super hybrid car of Ocean Network that was previously unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show was officially named Seal DM-i. Recently, the interior official picture of BYD Ocean Network's new model - Seal DM-i was officially released, let's analyze the interior information of the model in depth and understand the Seal DM-i more comprehensively.

Based on marine aesthetics, excellent appearance

The exterior of the Seal DM-i is created using BYD's "marine aesthetics" design concept and incorporates the design elements of the ocean-X concept car. The front face weakens the grille boundaries with trapezoidal openings and chrome trim, resulting in a borderless grille, while parallel lines and longitudinal light strips visually stretch the lateral width of the vehicle. The headlamp is narrow and long, and uses a double LED light source, and the main lamp extends down on both sides of the LED daytime running lights of dot matrix design, and forms the style of the letter "C".

At the same time, the Seal DM-i adopts a slip-back design with two waistlines at the front and rear, and the side skirts are cut in style and extend all the way to the rear bumper. In terms of dimensions, the Destroyer 07 has a length, width and height of 4980/1890/1495 mm, respectively, and a wheelbase of 2900 mm, positioning it as a mid-size sedan.

At the rear, the Seal DM-i has a spoiler shape on the edge of the trunk, and a progressive transverse stripe is incorporated into the rear bumper diffuser. The rear lights have a through-through design and a dot matrix light source. In addition, the seal DM-i also adopts a new color scheme of "Phantom Red" for the first time.

The materials are exquisite and quite high-class

The interior is a contrasting design of rose red and beige, with wood grain trim on the inside of the center console and door panels, and matte trim on the front passenger deck, with silver metal decoration everywhere, which is quite high-end. In terms of layout, it continues to be equipped with BYD family-style dual floating LCD screens, of which the central control screen is still a 15.6-inch adaptive rotating screen, and the LCD screen adopts a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument, and a small-size sun visor is added above.

In addition, the new car is equipped with a new style four-piece leather steering wheel and incorporates a HUD head-up display system, highlighting a good sense of technology. The center armrest area offers a 50-watt wireless charging panel and storage slot, while the crystal-textured electronic lever on the rear resembles the Seal EV, and the buttons around the lever are newly arranged. The seat part also continues the high-end design, with a large number of stitching and embossing embossing embellishments, and a large area of perforation design.
