On the evening of July 6, Song Xiaochuan, Tang Yongxin, and Zhang Jinan quietly appeared outside the friendly match. As it grew dark, they hid by the lamppost outside the field, cautiously but couldn't resist probing, and looked inside through the fence net.

Inside the stadium, the U13 men's and women's youth football teams from Qianxian Prefecture, Guizhou Province are playing a friendly match with the youth football team in Beijing. As the first batch of police officers from the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau to teach in Qianxian Prefecture, Guizhou Province, most of the children on the field were selected and trained by a few of them, from having never touched football at all to now being able to play football in Beijing, the children have made rapid progress and the coaches have paid a lot.

Like a father
Before I came, I imagined many scenes, and a few children called me, definitely to ask if I could come to see them, but I didn't dare to answer, I didn't know much about disguise, I was afraid of showing my stuffing, afraid that they would know that I would come and be distracted.
When I stood outside the stadium and watched everyone, I felt that the year passed so quickly, the children grew taller, their posture was more dashing, even in the face of opponents who looked stronger than them, they dared to grab and fight, and they ran with their heads held high, more confident than in the past.
But some things have not changed, such as I recognized Xu Jiajia at a glance, she is a full-back, or my familiar running posture, which is obvious on the field.
The children rushed over to hug me and cry after seeing me, I was not surprised at all, but what I didn't expect was that Chen Dongmei, who had always been very introverted, didn't find me at first, so she cried in the field, until Coach Wang Gang noticed her and pulled her to my side, and the child said, "I thought you weren't coming, you didn't want us." ”
This sentence suddenly broke my defense, they treated me like a father in their hearts, they would care so much.
At the end of teaching in 2022, Dongmei wrote me a letter with the following payment: "For the rest of your life, your student". She also asked cautiously, "Can you not go?" ”

I remember when I was just teaching, I once sent Jiajia home, it was a long way, we chatted in the car, she told me that she was very eager for her father to pick her up from school and to care for herself more. When we returned to her house, there was no one at home, her parents had gone out to work, and I told her, "You have to understand the difficulties of your parents, and you can't accompany you in order to support this family." ”
When I comforted her, I was distressed and hoped that my arrival would give the children guidance on the way forward.
The ball was already being passed at their feet
I also grew up in a rural area, and when I was a child, my living conditions were not good, but after I went to high school, I realized the importance of studying, and while studying cultural classes, I started to practice athletics, and I was admitted to university through my sports expertise. But I think that sports training brought me not only to help me knock on the door of the university, but also in later life, I can endure hardships, have perseverance, and have goals to strive for, which is the impact of sports on my life.
Now, I see in many children who are lucky enough to have this opportunity in elementary school. Take Xu Jiajia, under our guidance, she was admitted to Xingyi No. 5 Middle School, which is equivalent to us taking her to this part of her schooling journey, the road ahead, how to go, I believe she can understand.
I especially clearly remember that in April 2021, after the football team of Luguan Primary School was established, we bought uniforms and shoes for the children, and the children suddenly became energetic, and later they won the Xingren City Campus League championship, one by one, the team uniforms were welded on the body, worn in class, eaten, flag-raising ceremony, and where to wear.
Children have a sense of collective honor and are the first step in their self-confidence.

I'm an introvert and don't like to show my emotions. As the children's grades get better and better, they receive more and more social attention, and the media is coming. I will be calmer and more indifferent, as a coach, I am certainly happy, but as an elder like "father" in their minds, I feel that I have to pour cold water appropriately, it is not difficult to be brilliant once, it is difficult to always stand on a high place.
"I'm in the spotlight now because I played well in the past, and when I got home, everything cleared up." I told Jiajia like this, and also joked with her, I still expect your daughter to take care of me when I am old, you have to be steady, continue to work hard, don't forget the goal, and come to Beijing.
The day before I left Luguan Primary School, I took a picture of the children playing football during recess activities in the school, there were a dozen new young boys in the open space passing the ball freely, playing not professional enough, but I think it didn't hurt, the football was already passed under their feet, isn't that the purpose of our teaching.
