Today, after more than ten years of construction, the national major water conservancy project - the Hanjiwei Project has successfully achieved early water access. After passing through the nearly 100-kilometer Qinling Tunnel, the water drawn from the Han River, the largest tributary of the Yangtze River, will eventually replenish the Wei River, the largest tributary of the Yellow River, thus realizing the handshake between the Yangtze River and the Yellow River in Guanzhong Province. The Hanji-Weiwei project consists of water diversion project (phase I project) and water transmission and distribution project (phase II project and phase III project), with a total investment of about 51.6 billion yuan.
