Changshan Geopark is located in Changshan County, Zhejiang Province, with an area of 1043.10 square kilometers, located at the southeast edge of the Yangtze Massif, which is the combination of the Yangtze Massif and the South China Massif, and the geological structure is unique. It not only reflects the characteristics of long-term stable sedimentation of the Yangtze massif, but also preserves a relatively complete material record in the long geological history period, leaving world-class stratigraphic profile and paleontological geological relics such as "golden nails", which has become an important window for interpreting the formation, evolution and paleogeographical environment changes of the Yangtze massif.

Located in Shilin County, Kunming City, Yunnan Province, with an area of 365.7 square kilometers, Stone Forest Global Geopark is one of the three typical karst landforms in southern China, and a representative area in the world that reflects regional geological evolution since the late Paleozoic era with stone forest landforms. In addition to the typical stone forest landforms, other karst landforms have also developed in the park, such as funnels, underground caves, dissolution depressions, karst mounds, dark rivers, waterfalls, stone buds, etc., and retain complete development and evolution remains. Because of its outstanding geological and aesthetic value, the stone forest became one of the first global geoparks in 2004.
