Ken Hu revealed in his speech entitled "Win-win Artificial Intelligence New Era" that in order to welcome the next golden 10 years, Huawei is focusing on promoting artificial intelligence to become more practical. The first is to focus on the root calculation to solve the huge demand for computing power under the rapid development of general artificial intelligence, so that computing power will no longer become a bottleneck in the development of artificial intelligence.
First, architectural innovation is used to improve the efficiency of computing. At the compute node level, Huawei has revolutionized the peer-to-peer architecture architecture, which improves computing bandwidth and node performance by 30%.
In 2019, Huawei launched the Ascending AI Computing Cluster, which brings together computing, storage, network, etc. through clusters, that is, the AI data center is designed and managed as a supercomputer. Currently, Huawei has built the largest AI computing cluster in China, with a computing power of 1,000P, and the scale of this AI computing cluster will reach 16,000P in the future.

According to him, regarding AI for science, Huawei's Pangu big model includes Pangu scientific computing models such as drug molecules, meteorology, and ocean waves. According to Ken Hu, the Pangu Meteorological Model can complete the weather forecast for the future world for more than an hour to 7 days in a few seconds, which is fast and accurate.
