Beijing|Into the Mountains and Out of the Mountains: Cosmic Patterns and Foreign Influences in Early Chinese Culture

"Into the mountain" and "out of the jam" are two unique perspectives from which Li Zero combs the characteristics of ancient Chinese civilization, the former involving a re-understanding of China's early religious traditions, and the latter referring to foreign influences in archaeological discoveries. These two questions belong to "opening our eyes" to see the world and thinking about the formation and evolution of Chinese civilization from a broader perspective. From the pre-Qin to the Two Han Dynasties, how did Chinese civilization develop its own unique characteristics? How can external influences be transformed so that they are unrecognizable and indistinguishable from each other? How are early Chinese religious traditions and cosmic ideas visualized? In this issue of the "Sanlian Academic Forum", we invite different scholars from the fields of history, archaeology and art history to discuss the cosmic patterns and foreign influences in early Chinese culture.

It laid the foundation for the subsequent leap of the Central Plains wide-area royal power state led by Erlitou; Finally, around 1200 BC, the bronze civilization shined and formed the prototype of the ritual music system. At the same time, on the other side of the world, the Central American region entered the "early stage of formation", the "chiefdom" representing the complex social organization was born, and the earliest stadium was discovered, reflecting the special social status of religious ceremonies at this time; At the same time, the regions began a process of social complexity, establishing long-distance communication networks, exchanging rare objects such as gemstones and brightly colored feathers, as well as advanced knowledge such as religious concepts, ritual techniques and management strategies. Before the birth of writing, archaeological discoveries revealed to us the initial picture of civilization in completely different regions but strikingly similar, allowing us to appreciate the commonality and characteristics of the birth and development of global civilization history.
