Just today, a Massachusetts court held a hearing in the harassment case against Ezra Miller, lifting a temporary restraining order previously issued against Ezra Miller.
The cause of the incident was after Miller's Hawaii beating case last year, when a mother took Miller to court, saying that she had harassed herself and her son in the evening, and after investigation, the court issued a temporary restraining order against Miller and ordered Miller not to be near the mother and son.
At Friday's hearing, the judge lifted the injunction one day early, which was supposed to expire on July 1.
After the hearing, Miller released a statement saying that he had been wronged after apologizing for his controversial behavior. Here's the full story:
"I am grateful to all those who supported me and whose efforts have protected me and warmed me now that the restraining order has been abused.
The purpose of restraining orders is to protect those who are in danger, and they deserve to be protected, but now some people with ulterior motives use restraining orders as weapons to attack and harm innocent people.
I was treated unjustly, someone tried to attack me, I already knew who it was, and he had done the same in the past.
I ask those who spread rumors and false news, those melon-eating masses and the media who cannot see the truth, please keep your eyes open, distinguish right from wrong, stop chasing fame and profit, and wronging the innocent.
I want everyone to know that I'm trying to get back to a healthy life and do my best to undo the damage I've caused.
