The Flash was arrested| Ezra Miller was taken away by police in Hawaii for assault

Ezra Miller, who has played superhero The Flash in several movies and TV series, will face assault charges in Hawaii after being accused of flying a chair and injuring someone.

According to police, Miller was at a party at a private home on Hawaii's Big Island. The 29-year-old actor "became angry after being asked to leave" and then allegedly threw a chair and hit a 26-year-old woman in the forehead, causing a half-inch cut.

Police said the woman refused treatment. Miller was arrested at 1.30am and later released "pending further investigation." That arrest was Miller's second arrest in Hawaii in less than a month, and Ezra Miller is known for her characters in superhero movies and Harry Potter spin-offs, as well as wearing surrealist gender-distorted costumes on the red carpet.

The first arrests, which occurred in the early morning of March 28, when police said the actor, who was arrested after causing an accident at a bar in the town of Hilo and charged with disturbing order and harassment, had responded to the report by saying that one of the bar's "disorderly patrons" had "become agitated when the bar's patrons started singing karaoke" and began shouting obscene words and snatching a microphone from a 23-year-old woman. Police said the actor later struck a 32-year-old man playing darts, and despite repeated requests from the bar owner to "calm down," those efforts were "to no avail."

Police said Miller was eventually released on $500 bail. According to the Associated Press, Miller became agitated by singing The Ballad "Shallow" by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper at karaoke. Miller was later taken away by police from another property in Hilo.

A couple in Hawaii filed a petition seeking a temporary restraining order in the incident in Miller, which was later dismissed, the Associated Press reported. The petition said Miller rushed into their bedrooms, threatened them, and stole wallets and passports. The New York agent representing Miller and the Hawaii lawyer did not immediately respond to a message calling for comment.
