At Wimbledon this year, Li will partner Polish tennis star A-Radwanska in the veteran tournament. This is Li's second return to Wimbledon after five years, after partnering Japan's Ai Sugiyama in the Veterans Tournament in 2018, when the two finished 2-1 in the group stage.

As the most successful player in Chinese tennis history, Li Na has won two Grand Slam titles in her career, the 2011 French Open and the 2014 Australian Open, and she has also finished runner-up at the Australian Open twice. Before Naomi Osaka appeared, Li Na had been the number one figure in Asian tennis.

Wimbledon has a special affection for Li Na, and the last tournament of her career stayed at Wimbledon. In 2014, Li lost to Strykova in the third round of Wimbledon, the last official match of her career. Li reached the quarterfinals of Wimbledon three times in her career, but unfortunately failed to go further.
