The so-called masters are in the folk, and Tongcheng County at the end of the Ming Dynasty produced such a high-ranking person - Yao Kang.
Yao Kang (1578-1653), also spelled Xiuna, was a native of Dongxiang, Tongcheng County, Anqing Province.
Yao Kang's father, Yao Yiyi, was a Ming Dynasty student, also commonly known as Xiucai. Yao Yiyi died early, and his mother Wu Shi kept the festival and raised Yao Kang.

Yao Kang has been smart since childhood, and he also took the Xiucai examination during the Ming Dynasty. But how to take the exam later, they all fell behind, and their lives were only one life.
Why can't smart people take the exam? Yao Kang has a characteristic, the master teaches the reading of scriptures, he is always sleepy. When you read history books outside of class, you are in a cheerful mood, can rationalize the logic of the whole volume, and discuss whether it is successful or not, which is different. Yao Kang is extremely talented, superhuman, and academically good at history. Yao Kangxue's articles advocate Sima Qian, but they are not all similar, and only imitate his bold and smooth side. Yao Kang, a rural talent, has become a high-ranking person in the world.
Yao Kang has a fellow countryman named He Rupet.
What a pet
He Rupet (1569-1641), courtesy name Kanghou (康侯), was a native of Nanxiang, Tongcheng County, Anqing Province. In the twenty-sixth year of the Ming Dynasty (1598), he became a favorite in the official field, "conducting elegantly, having no competition with things, difficult to advance and easy to retreat, and the world is particularly high", and became a famous courtier at the end of the Ming Dynasty. During the reign of Ming Chongzhen, he served as a cabinet assistant, commonly known as the "prime minister". Yao Kang and He Rupet were fellow countrymen and had a very good personal relationship, and they became he Zaixiang's staff.
Chongzhen Emperor
One night, the Chongzhen Emperor had a dream: a loach hung a pen behind its tail. The Chongzhen Emperor was puzzled, and the next day asked Xiang Guo how he was favored. The prime minister thought about it for half a day, and he didn't understand what kind of sign it was. After returning home, he asked Yao Kang. Yao Kang was horrified, "This is a big deal, don't dare to say anything!" ”
He Ruyu said, "It doesn't matter! ”
Yao Kang and the prime minister whispered, "There is a pen behind this loach, which means 'after autumn will be reversed'!" ”
At the end of the Ming Dynasty, internal and external troubles were very serious, and under the famine, people's uprisings in various places really sprung up.

Later, He Rupet truthfully informed the emperor, and the emperor took pity on Yao Kang, invited him to see him, and planned to entrust him with a heavy responsibility. However, Yao Kang politely refused. In Yao Kang's view, the Ming Dynasty had exhausted its qi and there was no point in coming out as an official.
He is like a pet filial friend, "the mother is ninety years old, and the color is not faded."
Chongzhen was four years old, and He Rupet asked for retirement, but the emperor did not allow it. He Ru favored nine times, and the Chongzhen Emperor finally agreed.
Yao Kang preceded He Ruyu and asked to return to his hometown. Before leaving, he painted four paintings, which were left in He Ru's favor: one was an old plum tree, the branches were bare and the roots were empty; the second was a monkey under the tree, making a doze shape: three monkeys wearing boots on one foot, carrying boots in one hand, and panicking; and four monkeys hanging on the plum branches.
He Ru pet saw the painting and understood Yao Kang's meaning: the monkey in the painting was the emperor of the dynasty, and the Daming River and Mountains could not be saved.
He Ru pet sent people to bid farewell to Yao Kang. The visitor saw a bowl of rice in front of Yao's door, placed on a millstone, and five sticks of incense inserted in the pumpkin. He Ru pet listened to this scene, thought about it a little, and suddenly understood: this was Yao Kang's intention to persuade him to return to Mopan Mountain in Nanxiang.
The art of opera
In the sixth year of Chongzhen, Zhou Yanru rebelled, and Wen Tiren was the first assistant. And Yan Ru regretted that he was benevolent and self-reliant, and plotted to be favored to suppress it, and according to Yao Kang's point of view, he wrote six times to refuse to serve as the prime minister (first assistant).
Another friend of Yao Kang is the famous Shi Kefa in history.
Shi Kefa (1601-1645), also spelled Xianzhi, was a famous general and national hero of the late Ming Dynasty, a native of Xiangfu County, Kaifeng Province.
How did Yao Kang and Shi Kefa become friends? Shi Kefa's mentor was zuo guangdou, a native of Dongxiang, Tongcheng County, Anqing Province, and a fellow of Yao Kang.
After the city of Beijing was captured by Li Zicheng, the Chongzhen Emperor hanged himself, and Shi Kefa, who was appointed shangshu of the Nanjing Army, and his courtiers supported Zhu Yousong (Emperor Hongguang) as emperor. During the Southern Ming Dynasty, Shi Kefa spent a long time in Tongcheng and also invited Yao Kang to come out as an official. But Yao Kang only asked Shi Kefa to do one thing for himself: to pre-title the tombstone, that is, to prepare the tombstone before he died.
In the late Ming Dynasty, Yao Kang saw the situation very thoroughly and was also very pessimistic. "Spend your whole life in a chaotic world, and do not seek to reach the princes", Yao Kang accepted this concept. As for this chaotic world, let those who act perversely mix it up!
