Superman: An Introduction to Legacy
Superman is one of the world's most famous superheroes, and his image has long been deeply rooted in people's hearts, especially in China, where he is known as "Iron Man", which symbolizes justice and strength.
Superman: Legacy is an upcoming superhero movie written by Tanahi Coates and produced by Jay Jay Abrams that tells a brand new Superman story. The film will break away from the previous DC Extended Universe (DCEU) and will open up a whole new DC Universe (DCU). This means that, with the exception of a few DCEU actors, such as Amanda Waller, played by Viola Davis, most of the roles will be recast.
New Lex Luthor Shortlist
According to The Hollywood Reporter (THR), the film already has a "shortlist" for picking Superman's greatest enemy - Lex Luthor. Lex Luthor is a genius scientist and businessman who is full of jealousy and hatred for Superman, often using various means to try to eliminate him. In the DCEU, the role is played by Jesse Eisenberg, but in the new version, he will be taken over by another actor.
According to THR sources, three actors are currently on the shortlist, they are Alexander Skarsgard, Bill Skarsgard and Nicholas Holt. All three actors have different styles and characteristics, but all have excellent acting skills and high popularity.
Alexander Skarsgard
Alexander Skarsgard became popular for his role as Eric Northman in the HBO series Blood Romance. Many viewers thought his best performance was playing Perry Wright in True Lies. Skarsgard also played the villain Marquis Vincent de Gramont in "Fast Pursuit 4", confronting Keanu Reeves. His other works include The Devil Knows All.
Bill Skarsgard
Bill Skarsgard is Alexander's younger brother and also a good actor. He is best known for his role as the evil clown Penny Wise in the Joker Returns series. He also played the shapeshifter in Deadpool 2 and starred in an episode of Black Mirror season five.
Nicholas Holt
Nicholas Holt is a British actor who played a younger version of the Beast in X-Men: First Order. He has also participated in films such as "Warm Inner Light", "Tolkien", "The New Mummy" and so on. According to reports, Holt originally wanted to compete for the role of Superman, but was later turned to Lex Luthor.
