The art of Chinese calligraphy has a long history. Traditional stele rare books, collectors often regard as treasures, secrets do not show people, in the process of hundreds of years of transmission, few people can see the true face. This year, the Shanghai People's Publishing House created the "Art Club" brand featuring art publishing, and cooperated with major public institutions and private collectors to let photocopied copies of rare books and tablets flow into the homes of ordinary people.

"Jiashutang Collection of Rare Books Stele Series" is the first work of the "Yihui" brand, the first five kinds, including the oldest Tuoben "Kong Zhou Stele", Wang Shu, Wu Yun, Wu Rangzhi and other famous artists Mo Mingtuo "Tianfa Shen Zhi Stele", the best Shuiqian Ben Southern Dynasty "Ancestor of Big Characters" "Crane Ming", the oldest Tuoben Northern Dynasty "Zheng Wen Gong Stele" in the early Qing Dynasty, and the Northern Song Dynasty Tuoba Li Yong "Lushan Temple Stele" known as the "first book in the world".

Jiashutang is the hall name of Chen Yu, a Collector in Shanghai and an expert in the identification of inscription editions. Jiashutang's rare book inscriptions are all famous monuments, and there is no shortage of sky-high price inscriptions of millions of yuan or even tens of millions of yuan on the auction field. Take the "Monument of Kong Zhou" as an example, Kong Zhou is the 19th grandson of Confucius and the father of Kong Rong, this stele was carved by his protégé after the death of Kong Zhou in the seventh year (164) of the Eastern Han Dynasty, and the calligraphy is exquisite, which is a fine work in Han Li. Weng Fanggang of the Qing Dynasty commented on it as "the most mellow of Han Li", and Yang Shoujing of the Qing Dynasty praised this stele as "wavy and authentic, eight points authentic, no word does not fly, there is still no word unruly", Kang Youwei called it "victorious with the wind god Yi Gong." With the pen out of the way, extremely powerful, if you do not want to return." The photocopy of the "Tobu Wang's Ben" is not only the oldest extension of the "Kong Zhou Stele", but also the oldest extension of the Han Stele.

Song Tuo's "Liquan Ming of Jiucheng Palace", which was photocopied and published by Shanghai People's Publishing House, won the silver medal in the art book category of the American Printing Awards, known as the "Oscar of the printing industry". This photocopy published Jiashutang Zangtuo series, selecting the paper that best reflects the charm of the original Tuoben, comparing with the original Tuo, repeatedly grading and proofing, and striving to present the original Tuo shenyun, and then framed by hand, with the cover of Song Jin, the Aya face letter sleeve, and the book is realistically restored. For example, the inscriptions, annotations, seals, and even old marks, damages, and stains of the original Tuotuo are all presented, and the original appearance is full of breath, which can be described as "the first class of the next authentic handwriting".

At the publishing forum, Zhongwei, a research librarian of the Shanghai Library and a special researcher of Fudan University, believed that the publication of the Jiashutang Collection of Rare Books and Tablets is the embodiment of the vigorous development of the current stele market, and many private collectors have many collections worth publishing.

Fan Jingzhong, a professor at the China Academy of Art, believes that the jiashutang collection of rare books and inscriptions is well-founded and deeply researched, reflecting the research results of collectors for many years. Chen Maiqing, an expert in the study of inscriptions and editor of Fudan University Press, proposed that after the inscriptions become cultural relics, they have two values, namely economic value and academic value, and the publication of this series of periodicals provides important documents for the academic research of inscriptions.
