Lake Victoria, located in the Great Rift Valley region of East Africa, is the largest freshwater lake in Africa and the second largest in the world, shared by Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya. The industry in the lake area is mainly fishery, which is an important source of food and income for the residents along the lake.
