Mantua is an Italian historical city with a rich cultural heritage and a unique location. In 2019, the Mantua Overseas Chinese Labor and Commerce Association was established here, adhering to the tenet of "Advocating Confucianism and Virtue, Integrity and Win-win". Unite overseas Chinese, pool overseas Chinese strength, promote integration, help the development of local overseas Chinese and Chinese with practical actions, and actively promote cultural and tourism exchanges, academic exchanges, economic and trade cooperation between the governments, enterprises and universities of China and Italy. From a new overseas Chinese group, it has grown into an influential Chinese community in northern Italy.

On June 9, the sun will be shining and colourful in Mantua in midsummer. The second session of the Overseas Chinese Federation of Labor and Commerce in Mantua, Italy and the establishment celebration of the Youth Department were grandly held in the famous local business center. The second council of the federation was officially inaugurated, and the founding president Ye Zhengqin was expected by everyone to win the second president. More than 420 people, including Zhang Kaibin, Deputy Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Milan, Ren Wu, Consul of Overseas Chinese, GIORGIO SPEZZAFERRI, Deputy Governor of Mantua, Carlo Bottani, Governor Carlo Bottani, and friendly people from all walks of life, representatives of overseas Chinese from Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and other European countries and Italy, attended the event to witness this important moment. Founding President Ye Zhengqin was expected by everyone and won the second term of the President.
Vice Consul General Zhang Kaibin, Vice Governor of GIORGIO and President Ye Zhengqin put their eyes on the lions, and the celebration kicked off in the cheerful atmosphere of the lions dancing and gongs and drums.
Tang Caiyan, Secretary-General of the Federation, and Hu Lixin, Executive President, jointly presided over the celebration meeting. Executive Chairman Shi Deru announced the opening of the conference, and the magnificent hall sang the national anthems of China and Italy!
President Ye Zhengqin made a review and summary of the conference work report and delivered a consecutive speech, saying that he was honored to be re-elected as the second president of the Overseas Chinese Labor and Commerce Federation in Mantua, Italy. At this moment, I feel both honored and responsible in my heart.
President Ye Zhengqin summed up the work of the first conference and said that over the past few years, through the joint efforts of all colleagues, not only the initial development strategy of the Mantua Overseas Chinese Business Association has been realized, but also the six firsts in anti-epidemic work have been created.
President Ye Zhengqin issued a call to all members: join hands and move forward courageously, write a new chapter in the new journey of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind, and look forward to the future together in the common struggle!

They spoke highly of the Federation's contribution to promoting economic, trade and cultural exchanges between China and Italy and promoting local economic development. Vice Consul General Zhang Kaibin and Chairman Ye Zhengqin unveiled the establishment of the Youth Department of the Federation. This is a major event in the development of the Federation, marking that more Chinese young people have joined the ranks of serving overseas Chinese, showing that the cause of the Federation has successors and full of stamina.
Ms. Fu Malin, Minister of Youth Department, introduced the purpose and objectives of the Youth Department and said that she would lead the members of the Youth Department to actively carry out various activities to inject new vitality and impetus into the future development of the Italian Mantua Overseas Chinese Labor and Commerce Federation.

The second session of the Mantua Overseas Chinese Labor and Commerce Federation and the Celebration of the Establishment of the Youth Department came to a successful conclusion, and its successful holding demonstrated the strength and influence of the Federation. This grand meeting is a milestone in the development of the Federation and will surely lay a solid foundation for the future development of the Federation. We firmly believe that under the leadership of the new council, the Mantua Overseas Chinese Labor and Commerce Federation will definitely be able to usher in a better tomorrow!
