"Spirited Away" tells the story of Chihiro, a sixth-grade elementary school girl who travels to a new home in the countryside with her parents, passing through a mysterious tunnel on the way, and they discover an abandoned theme park. Chihiro's parents greedily enter a restaurant called "Shinhide Manor", but Chihiro is reluctant to enter because she suspects that there are ghosts in the store. She stayed in the doorway and observed the scene in the store. When she returns to the door of the store again, she finds that her parents have turned into pigs and that she is also trapped in the Divine Hidden Manor. It turns out that the Shenyin Manor is actually a mysterious world manipulated by yokai, who gain power by turning people into pigs.
In the mysterious world, Chihiro encounters many cute yokai and mysterious characters, including a mysterious man, Dr. Ogino, and a kind youkai Granny Yu. Through contact with these characters, Chihiro embarks on a bizarre adventure to find herself and her family, and escape the yokai spell. She also gradually learns her inner courage and kindness, successfully resolves Dr. Ogino's plot to control the mysterious world, and unlocks the spell of herself and her family in a series of challenges, and finally returns to the human world to reunite with her parents.
