Back in 1961, Premier Zhou Enlai proposed that the prominent positions of cinemas were hung with photographs of Soviet film actors, "Why can't we hang pictures of Chinese actors?" ”
Beiying Film Studio, Shangying Film Studio, Changying Studio and Bayi Factory, the four most influential film studios at that time, responded positively, selecting nomination lists among the three generations of actors of the old, middle and young generations, and finally selecting 22 people, becoming the first batch of film stars recognized by the public in New China. At the turn of the spring and summer of 1962, the major cinemas across the country were replaced with huge photos of the "twenty-two movie stars", setting off the earliest wave of "star chasing" after the founding of New China.
Produced by the Movie Channel Program Center and directed by Pan Yilin, the documentary film "Actors", which focuses on the "22 Movie Stars of New China", will be officially released on October 30.

Taking "The Twenty-two GreatEst Film Stars of New China" as the starting point, the film tells the film experience and artistic achievements of Yu Lan, Qin Yi, Tian Hua, Yu Yang, Wang Xiaotang, Jin Di, Xie Fang, Zhu Xijuan and other artists of the older generation, comprehensively excavates their perceptions and thoughts on the profession of actor for more than half a century, and pays tribute to Chinese films with the classic film image they have created.

In the post-screening exchange, Pan Yilin believes that she did not just do this in the past 5 years of making this movie, but all the previous experiences, all the work was doing this thing, and finally realized it on the big screen and using the movie method.
Talking about the touching moments in the creation of "Actor", Pan Yilin said that he was able to interview Teacher Qin Yi, and he also sincerely thanked Tong Ruixin, the head of the Actors Troupe, because of Teacher Qin Yi's body, the hospital refused to shoot, although the main creator flew to Shanghai several times in good faith, but they all ate the closed door soup, just when Pan Yilin was almost about to give up, Tong Ruixin let Pan Yilin see Teacher Qin Yilin during a regular visit to the troupe, and the precious interview shot in "Actor" was also filmed by Pan Yilin with a mobile phone.
"We all know that Teacher Qin loves beauty, every time she is interviewed, she will wear beautiful makeup, and she is indeed the most beautiful woman in the Chinese film industry, but when we went that day, she was dripping, very quiet, although people are thin, we still feel a kind of beauty, I personally like Teacher Qin's state of plain face."
