Located in western Asia, Israel has a territory of only 25,740 square kilometers and a total population of just over 9 million people, which is not comparable in size and population to many small cities on the mainland.
But it was such a small country that confronted the Arab countries next door for many years and broke out five wars in the Middle East.
It is worth noting that Israel has the upper hand in all five wars, leaving the Arab countries with hatred but helplessness.
So, what special skills does Israel have that gives him the courage and strength to "fight a hundred enemies"?
The scramble for "homeland"
Speaking of the "Arab-Israeli conflict", we can trace the historical origin of the Arab and Jewish peoples.
In the eleventh century BC, large numbers of Jews settled in Canaan, which is now Palestine, and they established their own kingdom, named the Hebrew Kingdom.
Roman army
The Jews lived in the land for more than a thousand years until the first century AD, when their peaceful days were a thing of the past with the invasion of the Roman Empire.
The Roman army brutally opened the gates of the Hebrew kingdom, the Romans became the new rulers of Canaan, and the Jews were required to submit to their power and accept their enslavement.

By the end of the nineteenth century, Jews from all over the world began to move back to Palestine.
At the beginning of the twentieth century, the British announced that the western part of Palestine would be given to the Jews, and Jews flooded into the area when they learned that they had regained their land.
The arrival of the Jews made the Arabs who had settled here wary.
They have lived here for more than a thousand years and have become the masters of the land, and now the Jews come to compete with them for their homeland, and the Arabs will naturally not agree.
In this way, contradictions and conflicts between Jews and Arabs broke out.
During World War II, the Jewish people were devastated by Nazi persecution, and tens of thousands of Jews lost their lives, which made them realize how important it was to build their own country.
The Jews who survived the war began to take Zionism as their duty, calling on their compatriots to return to their homeland and restore their former glory.
In this way, more and more Jews came to the Palestinian areas, and their contradictions with the Arabs became more and more acute.
Five wars in the Middle East
In 1947, the United Nations adopted Resolution 181, which provided for the partition of Palestine.
The resolution divided the area of Palestine, which covers an area of only 27,000 square kilometres, into two independent States, one Arab and one Jewish.
In 1948, Jews established a new state in Palestine, named Israel.
This was exciting news for the Jews, who had been displaced for millennia, but it was clearly unacceptable to the Arabs.
In May of the same year, the Arab countries attacked Israel, but due to the disparity in strength between the two sides, Israel had no chance of victory at first.
But thanks to the involvement of Western countries such as the United States, Israel quickly obtained a large number of military supplies and also established a fully equipped and combat defense army.
When the Arab army attacked again, Israel's military strength was different from what it was today, and the Arab coalition was caught by surprise, and finally the two sides had to sign an armistice, and the first Middle East war was calmed.
In 1956, Israel, together with Britain and France, launched an attack on Egypt, facing several powerful enemies, Egypt was finally defeated with two hands and four fists, and soon lost.
In the end, Israel gained navigation rights in the Strait of Tiran, and Egypt faced the tragedy of the war.
Looking at Israel's increasingly powerful steps, the Arab countries naturally could not swallow this breath, and in 1967, the two sides launched the third Middle East war with the support of the two world hegemons, the United States and the Soviet Union.
Due to the strategic mistakes of Jordan, Syria, Egypt and other countries, Israel's use of air force sneak attacks dealt a fatal blow to the other side, causing Arab countries to accept an armistice agreement and allowing Israel to occupy most of the Palestinian area.
As a result of the Israeli invasion, a large number of Arabs have lost their homes and been displaced, which has further deepened the hatred between the two sides.
In 1973, Arab countries took advantage of Israel's Yom Kippur Day to lower their defenses and launch the Fourth Middle East War.
Initially, Israel was heavily bombarded and plunged into a huge crisis, but they quickly adjusted and launched an attack on Syria by surprise.
The Arab coalition did not take advantage of the victory after the initial upper hand, and soon fell back into passivity.
After several rounds, although Israel suffered heavy losses, the Arab countries had no advantage to speak of, and at the end of the war, the two sides once again agreed to a truce.

Fifth Middle East War
