The Herald Sun reported on June 6 that three Monash University students were assaulted and racially discriminated by a woman outside the Caulfield campus, and the video was shocking.

Archit Aggarwal, vice president of Monash University's student union, said in a statement that they had been alerted about the "disturbing" incident.
"Last weekend, a student was physically and verbally assaulted near Caulfield Station and the Caulfield campus, and video of the process was widely circulated online."
Aggarwal said, "In the video you can see a security guard not stepping in or helping. We want to address this matter directly and assure you that we are seriously committed to taking this situation seriously. ”
Aggarwal said the student union communicated with the university's senior management to ensure an extensive investigation was ongoing.

A spokesman for Monash University said the university was aware of three Monash University students who had been attacked by a member of the public near the Caulfield campus.
