Leeds United midfielder Calvin Phillips was named to England's squad this summer, following the Three Lions to the European Championship, he has gradually settled in England's main force, and in the 2-0 game against Germany, Phillips also appeared.

Grandma Val is well known to many at Leeds United and she has also appeared in a documentary by Leeds United in the 2018/19 season. In a previous interview, Phillips said: "Grandma Val is very caring and somewhat nosy, but she is really a very cute lady. She would say to me, don't let the outside factors affect your thinking, you have to make sure that you continue to perform well in the next game. Grandma would listen to the game over the radio and then call me five or six times after the game and ask me how I felt, how I was playing, if I had made a mistake, and so on. ”
