Mi Lei told reporters that in the field of information transmission, although 5G has been popular, most of the needs of the public can be met, but with the development of communication and AI, the existing transmission rate and security reliability can not meet its needs, so higher speed optical communication chips are particularly critical, but for a long time these technologies have been in the hands of foreign manufacturers. The 25G laser chip exhibited by Yuanjie Technology provides a boost for the development of high-end optical chips and artificial intelligence. At present, the 25G products produced by Yuanjie Technology have been shipped, the 50G products have been verified by customers, and the research and development of 100G products is progressing smoothly.

Mi Lei introduced that in the field of information processing, computers have been pursuing to surpass the human brain. Studies have shown that the brain has 86 billion neurons, can make judgments on certain complex things in a very short time, and the energy consumption is very low, such things can take tens of minutes if calculated by supercomputing. Computers using photonic chips may achieve high-speed, low-power computing like the human brain. For example, PACE, developed by Xizhi Technology based on core technologies such as photonic matrix computing, on-chip optical network and inter-chip optical network, integrates more than 10,000 photonic devices in a single photonic chip, runs a 1GHz system clock, and runs NP complete computing problems hundreds of times faster than current high-end GPUs.

"In the field of information display, the screens we come into contact with daily are mainly OLED, which are often used in display fields such as mobile phones, computers, and televisions. However, OLED screens will burn the screen, flash eyes, etc., and cannot support high resolution, and for users, the 'friendliness' is insufficient.
