One of the methods of administration:
Article 386 is the treatment of cholera cold and those who do not use water.
Cholera, Zhongjing has clouds: "vomiting and profit", the onset of acute, tuli violent intercourse. Those who are cold in the yang deficiency, use the pills in the rational to disperse the cold in the temperature, and the scorch in the xieli to restore the lifting and lowering function of the spleen and stomach.
Due to the urgency of the onset of the disease and the rapid change of symptoms, it is required to "combine the number of boiling soups, and one pill, crush it, take it warmly, take it three or four times a day, and take two times at night; if it is not hot in the abdomen, it is beneficial to three or four pills."
The method of taking here has two characteristics, one is to take it continuously day and night, and the other is to increase the amount of each dose according to the change of the condition.
Usage 2:
Because cholera was in critical condition, Zhongjing also stressed that although the pills in Theory were consistent, they were "not as good as soup", and listed in detail the preparation and cooking methods of the soup in Lizhong: "Cut four things according to two numbers, use eight liters of water, boil three liters, go to the decant, take one liter warmly, and take three times a day." ”
The soup method has two advantages here, one is the rapid treatment of acute diseases, and the effect is rapid; the other is that it can be added or subtracted according to the characteristics of the disease, thus showing greater flexibility and adaptability.
