On October 23rd, the 15th Zhang Zhongjing Pharmaceutical Culture Festival and the 9th Zhongjing Forum in Nanyang, China were opened. With the theme of "Inheriting the Essence, Keeping the Integrity and Innovation, and Promoting the High-quality Development of the Cause and Industry of Traditional Chinese Medicine", the festival will dig deep into the cultural connotation and value of the times in Zhongjing through activities such as the report meeting, the exhibition of the achievements of the development of traditional Chinese medicine, the economic and trade negotiation and the signing ceremony of the project, publicize and promote the achievements of the development of traditional Chinese medicine, build a platform for investment promotion and cooperation, jointly seek the development plan of traditional Chinese medicine, and contribute to the revitalization and development of traditional Chinese medicine and the construction of a healthy China.

At the opening ceremony, Ma Jianzhong, member of the Proposal Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, chairman of the World Federation of China, and former deputy director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Fang Shuting, chairman of the Expert Committee of the China Association of Chinese Medicine, Chen Mengsheng, inspector of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Jia Zhongwu, deputy director of the Planning and Finance Department of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Liu Baoyan, chairman of the World Federation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Societies, president of the Chinese Acupuncture Society, and chief researcher of the Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, and Liu Ping, deputy secretary general of the Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Zhang Boli, winner of the national honorary title of "People's Hero", academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and consultant of the development strategy of traditional Chinese medicine in Nanyang City, made a keynote speech on "Reflections on the Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine".

Before the opening of this year's festival, a series of activities were launched continuously to create a strong atmosphere of public opinion. Opened a special bus for TCM health culture, played TCM propaganda videos through body painting, in-car light boxes, and on-board TV, and created a "mobile TCM culture classroom" on the "mobile window". From October 21 to October 24, 13 sub-forums and 6 sub-activities will be held successively, and this forum will adopt a combination of online and offline methods, in addition to the main venue, it will also be broadcast live in the sub-forums and county sub-venues at the same time; the activities held in the South Square of Nanyang Citizen Service Center will last until October 24.

In recent years, Nanyang has put the "strategy of strengthening the city of traditional Chinese medicine" in a prominent position, taking the lead in establishing the Chinese Medicine Development Bureau and including it in the municipal government work department, setting up the Chinese medicine development working committee, introducing supportive measures, establishing an industrial development fund, building a public research and development platform, and comprehensively optimizing the development environment of traditional Chinese medicine; relying on the profound advantages of Traditional Chinese medicine culture, resource advantages and industrial advantages, the 14th Zhang Zhongjing Pharmaceutical Culture Festival, the 8th Zhongjing Forum, the third phase of Zhongjing Academy, and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Under the guidance of the Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the construction of Zhang Zhongjing Museum with high standards, the restoration of Zhang Zhongjing Traditional Chinese Medicine University, the construction of the National Regional Medical Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the influence of Zhongjing culture at home and abroad is increasingly enhanced; giving full play to the advantages of authentic genes, doing excellent pure Wan medicine, cultivating 39 Traditional Chinese medicine enterprises represented by Wanxi Pharmaceutical, Henan Fusen, etc., with a planting area of 1.85 million mu of Chinese herbal medicine, and the annual output value of Chinese herbal medicine planting is 6 billion yuan, especially the largest planting area of wormwood in the country, and the production and sales of mugwort products rank first in the country, which is known as " World Aixiang", won the titles of "National Comprehensive Reform Pilot Zone of Traditional Chinese Medicine" and "National Advanced City of Grassroots Traditional Chinese Medicine Work".

The Zhang Zhongjing Medical Culture Festival is held every two years, and the Zhongjing Forum is held once a year. At present, "one section and one altar" has become a national TCM exhibition brand and a service platform for talents, industrial cooperation and academic exchanges in TCM.
