Zhang Juncheng was born in a small village in the Taihang Mountains. In his memory, he always wore old clothes left by his brothers, and his shoes were bare toes. Breakfast is mostly steamed a few small wild pears picked from the mountains, and lunch is mixed with cornmeal and sorghum noodles "sanhe noodles", and when stir-frying, only a cloth dipped in oil is used to brush a circle in the pot.

However, Zhang Juncheng's heart to get out of the mountain became more and more urgent every day. After more than two years of soft grinding and hard soaking, his mother finally let him go of home. This year, Zhang Juncheng was 17 years old, and his cousin helped him find a job in the auto repair factory. Eight months later, a security company in Beijing came to recruit people, and Zhang Juncheng signed up and got on a bus to Beijing.
Before joining, you need to train at the security training base for nearly a month, and the training results determine the distribution. If you want to do it, you have to do it to the best. With this belief, Zhang Juncheng devoted himself to training, won the first place in many assessments such as military skills, business knowledge, and professional norms, and ranked first among more than 500 people, and was finally assigned to Peking University.
Zhang Juncheng's position on the guard is the West Gate of Peking University, which is known as the "First Gate of Peking University". When he wasn't standing guard, he asked veterans for advice on business. After more than two months of probation, Zhang Juncheng was promoted to the head of the Ximen team because of his outstanding business and serious work. In the past, from recruits to squad leaders, it took more than half a year to say the least.
After becoming the squad leader, Zhang Juncheng worked harder and harder. He set the rules: the security post is the first window of Peking University, whether inside or outside the school, seeing someone encountering difficulties, we must help. Helping teachers and students carry things, picking up and dropping off visiting guests, escorting blind people across the street, helping unknown helpers... Zhang Juncheng also prepared pumps, umbrellas and other items in the duty room in order to help those in need at any time.
The Ximen Security Post led by Zhang Juncheng has won the respect and recognition of the masters and students of The North. In 1997, Ximengang was rated as one of the top ten security demonstration posts in the city by Beijing Security Service Corporation.

At that time, Zhang Juncheng was very stimulated. The next day, he went to buy two English books and began to learn English.
Unable to watch on the day shift, Zhang Juncheng taught himself when there was no one on the night shift, and often read words aloud. One day, Cao Yan, a professor in the English Department of Peking University, got off work and asked him curiously what he was doing, and when he learned that Zhang Juncheng was learning English, Cao Yan said: "Where are you learning English, I thought you were reading German!" After that, Cao Yan sent two free English lecture cards, and specially asked the security department to take care of Zhang Juncheng's study.

With the encouragement of Teacher Cao, Zhang Juncheng knew that he could also go to Peking University through self-examination, so he moved the idea of studying for the examination. In order to win more study time, he took the initiative to apply for a night shift, slept only three or four hours a day, almost all read books and brushed questions except for standing guard, and often could not even eat.
Kung Fu does not live up to the hard work. Half a year later, Zhang Juncheng was admitted to the law department of Peking University. In the following 3 years, he nibbled down the difficult professional knowledge, passed all 13 courses with high scores, and successfully obtained the self-examination diploma of Peking University Law Major. Under his leadership, more than ten Peking University security guards have joined the team of reading and studying.

In 1999, Zhang Juncheng's wife became pregnant and hoped he would return home. Although the school guard team tried to retain it, Zhang Juncheng himself had a thousand reluctance, but he still decided to leave.
With a Peking University diploma, three bags of heavy books, and 5 years of invaluable life experience, Zhang Juncheng returned to his hometown and successfully entered the management position of a secondary vocational school in Changzhi. It didn't take long for him to officially become a classroom teacher through a trial lecture, and soon after he was assigned to be the class teacher.

The first class that Zhang Juncheng took over was a recognized "thorn head class". But Zhang Juncheng said that there are no students who can't teach well, only teachers who can't teach. He ate and lived with the students, and talked to the students when he had nothing to do. Receiving attention and affirmation, with hope and confidence, the former "thorn head class" counterattacked and became the best class in the whole grade when it graduated.
In the four or five years since he returned to his hometown, Zhang Juncheng has been to many schools, but he has never left the education industry. He said that at first it was a sense of responsibility, feeling that if he did not do it, many children would lose the opportunity to be educated; later, he felt that being a teacher was "addicted", seeing that he could influence one child after another, and feeling happy from the bottom of his heart.

Opening of vocational schools

After 16 years in the secondary vocational school, Zhang Juncheng has his own knowledge and understanding of secondary vocational education and has moved his own idea of running a school. In 2015, he and his friends jointly funded the opening of Changzhi Science and Technology Secondary Vocational School, with Zhang Juncheng as the principal.
The school's greatest feature is its "paramilitary management". On top of strict management, Zhang Juncheng pays more attention to the care of students, advocating that teachers should "treat students as their own children" and "strive to become students' favorite teachers".
