On August 24, in a square of xinzhou Daoguanhe Scenic Area, a French little squirrel B3 light helicopter equipped with GPS positioning system frequently took off and landed to kill insects in the mountains and forests, and the aircraft took off and landed 16 times on the same day, spraying 32,000 acres of pesticides.

It is understood that in the areas where forest diseases and insects are hard-hit, the use of aircraft spraying is the main means of preventing and controlling forest diseases and insect pests in our province in recent years, and its efficiency can reach more than 100 times that of ground control.

According to the Forestry Bureau, the flight defense operation covers an area of 32,000 mu, 16 flights, and precisely cracks down on forest insect pests in 15 villages in 3 towns of Xugu, Taoist temple and old street.

It is reported that this is the first time that the leased helicopter took off from the scene to kill insects, and military aircraft were used to exterminate insects in the mountains of eastern Xinzhou in 1985. The district government raised 400,000 yuan and the district forestry bureau raised 250,000 yuan.
