Ordovician
In Earth's history, the Ordovician began about 500 million years ago and ended 440 million years ago.
Ordovic, taken from a tribe in the border region of Wales in ancient England - Ordovices. Early in the century, seawater invaded much of the continents, submerging much of North and South America.
On these unobstructed and shallow inland seabeds, extremely thick layers of limestone shale and sandstone are deposited.
At that time, the land of the earth was still completely barren, and only there were creatures in the sea. The biota is also dominated by trilobites, penlithocarbopods, cephalopods, etc., as well as relatively well-developed corals and bryozoans.
