On May 16, 2018, the staff of the Provincial Industrial System Coffee Pu'er Comprehensive Experimental Station went to the Tea Forest in Nanping Town, Simao District to check the prevention and control effect of the Tiger Tianniu Biological Prevention and Control Demonstration Base. In 2017, the Guan's swollen leg bee and the hanging flower wool parasitist egg card were released in the base, and through the investigation of the damage rate of the coffee plants in the demonstration base, the parasitization of the Tianniu larvae in the wood section, and the growth of the plants in the base, compared with before the test, the coffee plants in the release of the Guan's swollen leg bee base grew better, the rate of the victim plant was significantly reduced, and the dissection of the wood found that some of the Tianniu larvae died or were in an unhealthy state, and it was initially concluded that the use of Guan's swollen leg bees to prevent and control the initial results of the exterminating ridge tiger Tianniu were found.
Subsequently, the staff went to the Pu'er City Coffee Test Demonstration Site to check the occurrence of the disease in the rust prevention and control test base, due to the early spring rains and windy weather, it is conducive to the spread of rust and the damage of infection, which aggravates the occurrence of rust. Based on the situation in the field, preliminary preventive measures will be formulated and will be implemented in late May.
