According to his public resume, Feng Gong, born in February 1957, is a native of Tianjin, joined the work in September 1977, graduated from Central China Normal University with a master's degree in literature and art, a master's degree in literature, a first-class actor, and is currently the artistic director of the China Broadcasting Art Troupe, the vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang Revolutionary Committee, the vice chairman of the China Federation of Literary and Literary Associations, and the chairman of the China Qu Artists Association.

At the end of October 2022, Feng Gong and Zhao Yan were recommended as representative inheritors of national intangible cultural heritage, and according to the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on Carrying out the Recommendation and Application of Representative Inheritors of National Intangible Cultural Heritage of Units Directly Under the Central and State Organs, after reviewing the application materials of Zhao Yan and Feng Gong, experts were organized to review the two from the aspects of the characteristics and level of skills and performance, representativeness and influence, teacher inheritance and apprenticeship inheritance, etc. The China Broadcasting Art Troupe agreed to recommend the two as representative inheritors of national intangible cultural heritage.
