Chen Lingyu, a national first-class actor, a famous pipa playing and singing performance artist, and the artistic director of the Lingnan Quyi Institute of the Guangzhou Cultural Center Center, together with a number of famous quyi artists and outstanding young quyi performers from Guangzhou and Hong Kong, showed the unique charm of quyi art in the Greater Bay Area, attracting the attention and participation of many enthusiasts!
This is the first Guangzhou-Hong Kong opera exchange show in Guangzhou in 2024. This exchange and performance is organized by the Guangzhou Cultural Center and Chen Lingyu's Association (Hong Kong), and organized by the Lingnan Quyi Institute. Among them, "Chen Lingyu Yuanzhi Club" is a public welfare association from Hong Kong, with the purpose of promoting artistic exchanges and integration in the Greater Bay Area and promoting the traditional culture of Lingnan quyi, and has held various cultural activities to benefit the people for a long time;
One of the micro-Cantonese opera performances and performances by the famous quyi artist Chen Lingyu as the artistic director and director was arranged at the opening stage (the first shot) - the young actors of the Lingnan Quyi Academy, Siu Shilin, Chan Miu-li, Wu Situo, Mok Sinwen and Lau Shuk-yin, played and sang the narrative opera "Hear a Beam of Light" on the spot. The work won the Golden Melody Award in the Global Micro Cantonese Opera Competition, and recently won the 11th Guangdong Lu Xun Literary and Art Award (Art Category), and was presented in the first "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Literary and Art Rising Star" art exhibition.
Then, the Cantonese opera singer Yang Xiaoman and the Hong Kong girl singer Ms. Chen Yulian sang "Guan Gong Yue Xia Xia", the famous Hong Kong young martial arts student Mr. Long Yusheng and the Hong Kong girl singer Ms. Chen Yuzhen brought "Hitting the Golden Branch", Chen Lingyu and Hong Kong veteran singer Ms. Yu Yizi sang "The Dream of the Southern Tang Dynasty", and the Zhaoqing Cantonese Opera Troupe Zheng Yin Dan Zhu Nu Teacher and Hong Kong " Mr. Kwan Daheng, vice president of Chen Ling's Jade Fate Club, sang "Broken Opinions...... The story of the program is wonderful, the interpretation is exciting, and the audience applauds on and off the stage, which jointly creates a strong atmosphere of opera and art exchange, and also allows the audience to appreciate the profound heritage of traditional art in the melodious rhyme.
At the end of the performance, Ms. Chen Lingyu led a group of performers to present the closing ceremony performance "Gathering", singing, dancing and singing together. The whole program was hearty and hearty, bringing the quyi performance to the stage of the quyi garden in the form of a teahouse, highlighting the original intention and vision of traditional art to take root in the masses and give back to the masses.
