Speaking of Netflix, it is inseparable from "having money" and "daring to shoot".
Big production is also a large scale, there is no sensitive topic, is Netflix can not dabble

When Netflix encounters the realities of Korean society, its sensitivity and scale are far beyond imagination.
"Netflix loves South Korea to death, so many dark subjects are casually filmed"
As we all know, Korean law stipulates that adult men are obliged to perform military service.
Regardless of occupation or family background, as long as the person is not seriously disabled, military service is required within the time specified by the State.
In Korean society, there is a general emphasis on age and seniority, and there is a strict hierarchical order.
When it comes to the army, this concept of hierarchy is even more decayed to the extreme.
No matter how old you are, as long as you enter the army one day late, you are unconditionally subordinate to the descendants of your superiors.
Even a small soldier has the right to summon any subordinate or descendant.
Even if you are the president's son, or a big star sought after by thousands of people, from the moment you step into the training center, everything in your life resume returns to zero.
Under such a cruel and harsh level of survival, there are always some people who can't stand the torture and want to escape from the army.
The title of the film, "D.P", is such a department that captures deserters.
The protagonist of the story, Gong An Junhao (Ding Haiyin), is a member of D.P.
Of all the same periods, he was luckier.
Although it was not inevitable, in the first month of the recruit's training, he suffered humiliation from his superiors.
No matter what form of bullying, the only thing he could say was, "Second Class Soldier, An Junhao."
After surviving the training of recruits, he was assigned to the most bitter and tired gendarmerie.
In a fortuitous inquiry, An Junhao won the appreciation of the DP team leader by virtue of his superior reasoning ability.
Due to the shortage of personnel, An Junhao joined the DP group in this way.
However, the first time he went on a mission, he caused a human life.
An Junhao was bent on catching people and returning to the team quickly, but the old fritters in the same group were treated as a rare and valuable outing, and encouraged An Junhao to play with him enough.
Half pushed and half down, An Joon-ho also ate with him, drank, and went in and out of entertainment venues, gradually forgetting the original task.
As he escaped from the smoky bar to catch his breath, he came across a young man who had borrowed a lighter from him.
This young man is the deserter.
By the time An Joon-ho woke up, the young man had burned charcoal to commit suicide and died forever.
After the accident, the old fritters who went on a mission with the same group lied to the leader.
It was claimed that the two had been ambushing and wanted to wait until the next day to arrest people, but they did not expect to have an accident, and did not mention their dereliction of duty and indulgence.
The leader did not delve too deeply, so he let a human life dissipate inexplicably.
An Joon-ho was hit like never before.
He beat up the old fritters and locked himself up for a few days.
An Junhao also began to think, why did they flee from the army?
In the army, what kind of suffering did they have, or what happened to them that made them want to escape?
Among the deserters pursued by the DP group, some were because they could not stand the hardships of the army, some because they were poor, and some were for their families.
In order to chase them back, An Joon-ho did not suffer less.
Fighting and bleeding, flying cornices, and even betraying hues are all daily meals.
But only when hunting down "them", An Junhao's mood is always so unusual.
"They" are all victims of bullying in the military.
One of them was also the senior of An Junhao's team, Cao Shifeng.
Cao Shifeng was a former judo player who made a living by drawing cartoons and teaching before serving in the military, and was loyal and honest, gentle and kind.
In the barracks where the wind of bullying spread, only he was still full of care for his descendants.
In An Junhao's heart, Cao Shifeng was the best senior in the army, and there was no one.
But suddenly one day, An Junhao found that Cao Shifeng had changed.
It was an ordinary night again, and Cao Shifeng was called out of the bedroom by other seniors.
The previous Cao Shifeng may have cowered and gone out;
But that day was different, Cao Shifeng called up several recruits in the dormitory, slapped them several times, and became like other predecessors.
In his eyes, he could not see any pleasure, only wordless pain.
An Junhao, who witnessed this scene, also came forward to persuade:
"We ourselves have been beaten a lot, let's stop contributing to this..."
Cao Shifeng roared angrily at An Junhao, you don't understand.
What An Junhao could not understand the most was Cao Shifeng's escape.
One night when he took turns standing guard, Cao Shifeng, who was on duty, finally couldn't bear the bullying of his predecessors and beat them to the point of bleeding.
His anger and pain were finally vented, but it also inspired his sense of revenge.
Cao Shifeng did not return to the ground and chose to escape.
This was the most difficult hunting mission for Ahn Joon-ho.
The bleeding wounds on his body were no longer nothing, and what he wanted to salvage and make up for was Cao Shifeng's already devastated soul.
It's just that even if An Junhao thought of all the ways to save it, it would have long since lost its meaning.
Everything That Cao Shifeng experienced was shocking.
In the army, learn to monkey bark, be scolded for waste, and be insulted to perform waste firing cannons.
At every turn, he will be punished for standing, and will maliciously push him into the pushpin on the wall and hit the back of his head with a bleeding.
Insulting him as a dead otaku, beating him until his whole body was covered in blood, was commonplace.
There's more, comparable to the inhuman humiliation of torture—
Watch him get beaten to the point of vomiting blood and scalding it with a scalding cigarette butt.
The most perverted thing was to tell him to take off his pants and burn his lower body with a lighter.
The abuser also had a righteous gentleman's tone: Where do I find such a good predecessor, and help you remove hair for free.
Cao Shifeng had already been stripped away, from his body to his heart, he had been trampled on completely.
Even more shocking than the storyline is "adapted from a true story."
The series is based on the webcomic of the same name, "D.P. Dog Day", and the original author of the manga is from the Gendarmerie D.P unit.
Everything depicted in the author's pen is like the cartoon that Cao Shifeng finally uploaded to the hard disk, all derived from cruel real events.
At the beginning of the episode, a humble news is playing on the TV -
Among them is the 2014 sensational case of Ryokawa-ryūjō in Gyeonggi Province.
A 23-year-old soldier surnamed Yin was abused by 5 veterans for 30 consecutive days, and one day he was beaten to block the trachea with food, and died the next day because of the ineffectiveness of rescue.
Until the death, the army commander still ignored it, and even defended the soldier as "choking to death from eating."
There are also other deserters in the play, who are abused by wearing gas masks and forcibly pouring water on them when they sleep because they snor when they sleep.
However, after being captured by the DP team and returned to the barracks, the perpetrators were transferred away, but the victims who escaped were tried.
According to statistics, an average of 100 military personnel commit suicide every year in South Korea, the vast majority of which are due to bullying.
All this is not a fiction, but a real thing.
Korean film and television works are always changing society.
They dare to say, dare to do, dare to expose the dark side of society one by one.
But their national society is still decaying.
Rapists are released from prison, sex scandals in the entertainment industry are endless, bullying and assault are still there...
These "dare to say dare" film and television works, as if everything is exposed, but there is no use.
Seemingly "useless work", do they have any reason to insist on shooting?
As the end of the story, everyone knows it.
"You know the kettle our troops use, do you know what's written on it?"
In 1953, it has been used since the Time of the Korean War, and even the kettle has not been changed, how can it be changed? ”
The younger brother committed suicide after escaping from the army, and the sister said that she could finally understand him a little.
"Before he said that he was very uncomfortable in the army, I always said, then everyone else is going to the army, why can't you carry it?"
And finally Wu Shifeng's otaku good friend "Luffy", who carried his gun for the first time...
People who know the truth will have many different types of touches -
Maybe it's stopping, maybe it's understanding, maybe it's comforting, maybe it's countering violence with violence.
We cannot say which is the really right choice.
Even if we can't change the status quo with our own hands, we must let more people see and understand the truth of the facts.
If we can let a good person know the truth, perhaps we will have an extra chance of trying to change this deformed society.
