According to the unified deployment, on April 26, local time, the Chinese Navy's guided-missile destroyer Nanning and integrated supply ship Weishan Lake urgently sailed to Sudan to carry out the task of evacuating our personnel in Sudan. Of the first evacuees to arrive in Saudi Arabia, 668 were Chinese citizens and 10 were foreigners.
On the pier, staff from the Chinese embassy and consulates in Saudi Arabia, media and Chinese-funded institutions lined up to welcome compatriots and foreign friends. Next to the welcoming crowd was a convoy of buses preparing to transport evacuees, while Saudi military police patrolled the neighborhood.
The warship anchored and entered the port, and the personnel on board interacted enthusiastically, and everyone waved the national flag in their hands and greeted each other.
The gangway was lowered, the men, women and children on the ship carried their luggage and waved the national flag fish down, and the naval soldiers helped everyone carry their luggage and hold their children.
