The newest Scotch whisky distillery, Roseisle Distillery is one of Scotland's largest distilleries with a production capacity of around 10 million litres, the same as the Glenfiddich and Glenlivet distilleries. This distillery is equipped with the latest computer equipment to manage mature whiskies. So only 10 people worked at the Roseisle distillery, costing £40 million. The Roseisle distillery is primarily designed to meet the expanding demand for Diageo's blended whisky market.
ROSEISLE WINERY
THE ROSEISLE BREWERY WAS BUILT WITH THE AIM OF EXPERIMENTING WITH DIFFERENT TECHNOLOGIES. Roseisle's condensers switch between copper insect barrel condensers for light new wines and shell and tube condensers for thick new wines. In addition, the Roseisle winery is developing technologies such as heat recovery to achieve lower energy consumption.
