It is reported that the Tsinghua University Shooting Team was rebuilt in October 1999 and is one of the high-level sports teams of Tsinghua University, with a total of 22 team members. By the end of 2020, the Tsinghua shooting team has won 725 medals in major events at home and abroad, such as the National University (Middle) Student Shooting Championships, Youth Games, National Games, Asian Games, World University Games, World Cup, World Championships, and Olympic Games.
