Case 1
Wang Xiaozhen of Xingtai People's Hospital of Hebei Province is the corresponding author, and Xie Jin is the first author of the paper "MiR-221inhibitsproliferationofpancreaticcancercellsviadownregulationofSOS3", after investigation, the project did not complete the experiment, and the paper data and pictures were patched together, tampered with and other falsifications.
In this regard, Xingtai People's Hospital made the following treatment of the relevant responsible personnel:
1. Conduct scientific research integrity admonition talks and criticism education for all parties, and inform and criticize all parties within a certain range;
2. The paper has been reimbursed for the layout fee and the SCI paper award has been fully recovered;
3. Revoke the 2019 Hebei Medical Science and Technology Progress Award that has been obtained;
4. Suspend the first author's scientific research project declaration, project establishment, appraisal, professional title promotion and other activities for five years, and cancel the first author's qualifications as a nominator or recommender, a nominated or recommended person, a review expert, etc.;
5. Suspend the declaration, establishment, evaluation and promotion of scientific research projects by corresponding authors and other authors in the research group for one year.
Case 2
Jilin Province Jilin Central Hospital Liu Bo published a paper for the corresponding author "Astragaloside IVprotectsATDC5cellsfromlipopolilysaccharide-causeddamagethroughregulatingmiR-203/MyD88", after investigation, the paper was written by Liu Bo through a third-party intermediary agency entrusted by others, and did not inform other authors before submission, Involving improper signatures, it is a paper fraud and scientific research untrustworthy behavior.
In this regard, Jilin Central Hospital gave Liu Bo the following sanctions: cancel the promotion title within four years, declare financial support projects, and declare the qualifications of provincial and municipal science and technology progress awards after the research projects pass the acceptance.
Case 3
The paper "RegulationofmTORbymiR-107tofacilitategliomacellapoptosisandtoenhancecisplatinsensitivity" published by Song Shuqing of Daqing People's Hospital of Heilongjiang Province as the corresponding author and Su Pengfei as the first author" was written and distributed by an intermediary.
In this regard, Daqing People's Hospital determined that Su Pengfei was mainly responsible, Xu Yueyue was secondarily responsible, and Song Shuqing was generally responsible. The relevant responsible persons are to make the following handling opinions:
1. Give Su Pengfei: scientific research integrity admonition talk; cancel the application or declaration of scientific and technological plan projects (special projects, funds, etc.), scientific and technological awards, scientific and technological talent titles and other qualifications within five years; cancel the qualifications as a nominator or recommender, nominated or recommended person, review expert, etc. within five years; request retraction.
2. Give Xu Yueyue: scientific research integrity admonition talk; cancel the application or declaration of scientific and technological plan projects (special projects, funds, etc.), scientific and technological awards, scientific and technological talent titles and other qualifications within five years; terminate all scientific research projects in research.

Case 4
Heilongjiang Provincial Hospital Cui Rong as the corresponding author, Zhang Shu as the first author published the paper "ThetargetregulationofMiR-26aonPTEN-PI3K/AKTsignalingpathwayinmyocardialfibrosisaftermyocardialinfarction", after investigation, it was funded by Cui Rong and Zhang Shu to ask others to write papers on behalf of others, and there was academic misconduct.
In this regard, Heilongjiang Provincial Hospital has made the following treatment of the relevant responsible personnel:

Cui Rong shall be given the following sanctions: revoke the title of chief physician obtained by applying the paper, and report to the title approval management department for revocation; withdraw the bonus obtained by applying the paper; cancel the qualification to undertake financial support projects within five years; conduct scientific research integrity and sincere talks; and give a warning sanction according to Article 20 of the Interim Provisions on the Punishment of Public Institution Staff.
2. Zhang Shu will be given the following sanctions: cancel the qualification to declare the title of deputy chief physician in 2020; withdraw the bonus obtained by applying the paper; cancel the qualification to undertake financial support projects within five years; conduct scientific research integrity and sincere talks; and give a warning sanction according to Article 20 of the Interim Provisions on the Punishment of Public Institution Staff.
Case Five
Sun Jinliang, The First People's Hospital of Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, as the first author and corresponding author, published the paper "Protectivefunctionsof?myricetininLPS-inducedcardiomyocytes H9c2cellsinjurybyregulationof?" MALAT1", after investigation, is a third-party ghostwriting proxy, which is a serious academic misconduct.
In this regard, the First People's Hospital of Changzhou City gave Sun Jinliang the following treatment: a serious warning punishment within the party; the withdrawal of the above-mentioned papers published; the cancellation of the declaration of qualifications for various scientific research projects and scientific and technological achievements at all levels for five years; the suspension of incentive performance wages for twelve months; and the cancellation of a senior appointment qualification.
Case VI
Du Fangchao, a former employee of the First People's Hospital of Hefei City, Anhui Province, published the paper "ExpressionofmiR-141andYAP1ingastriccarcinomaandmodulationofcancercellproliferationandapoptosis" published as the first author, which was investigated as an academic misconduct of purchasing experimental data and writing and distributing scientific research papers on behalf of others.
After coordination, Du Fangchao's working unit will make the following treatment of Du Fangchao:
Du Fangchao's qualifications for promotion to job titles and declaration of scientific and technological plans (special projects, funds, etc.) projects for five years are cancelled, and at the same time, they are recorded in the scientific research integrity information system, and administrative demotion is given (from attending physician to physician).
