Changchun, July 30 (Tan Weiqi) The first batch of "one single system" foreign trade goods of the Changchun-Tianjin sea-rail intermodal train departed from Changchun International Dry Port on the 30th to Tianjin Port Central Station, and then transported by sea to Alexandria, Egypt and Batangas Port in the Philippines.
This batch of foreign trade goods loaded by 34 Maersk containers officially opened a new mode of "one single to the end" full logistics of sea-rail intermodal transport in northeast China.
It is understood that the opening of the new mode of "one single to the end" full logistics will break the problem that the railway section and the maritime section are operated in two steps in the previous sea-rail intermodal transport, and the documents prepared at both ends cannot be used universally, and at the same time solve the problems of cumbersome, long time, slow speed and high cost of import and export links, helping enterprises to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
The sea-rail intermodal transport between Changchun and Tianjin was opened in July 2019, and so far a total of 196 two-way shipments have been made, totaling 10,286 TEUs, which has set up a convenient logistics channel for enterprises in the two places to expand international and domestic cooperation.
In 2020, under the active promotion of Changchun Xinglong Comprehensive Free Trade Zone, Changchun Railway Port obtained the international port code (CNCCD) qualification, truly has the ID card to participate in international trade, and made preliminary preparations for the "one single system" international sea-rail intermodal logistics model with Changchun as the port of departure/destination port.
Zhao Shuang, director of the Changchun Xinglong Comprehensive Free Trade Zone Port Economic Bureau, said in an interview with reporters that the departure of the "one single system" sea-rail intermodal train has completely realized the process of "borrowing port to go to sea" and provided convenience for goods in the northeast region to go to sea.
