Su Li, female, born in October 1975, is a reconnaissance officer at the level of the public security bureau of Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, and the leader of the poverty alleviation team in Liujia'an Village, Wuzhen, Jia County.
On June 3, 2014, Su Li was sent to Liujia'an Village, Wuzhen, Jia County, as the head of the village team. As a propaganda cadre of the municipal bureau, with her love for the countryside and the feelings of the masses, she went into village groups, peasant households, and ran in the fields, investigated and explored the bottom, summed up experience, studied business, relieved people's worries, and helped people get rich. As a communist party member, she put her loyalty to the party and dedication to her work into practical actions, which embodied the true color and style of a communist party member everywhere. Leaning down, paying diligently and earnestly, picking up the burden, working diligently, taking steps, and really gaining. In the past four years, she has transformed from a heroic female policewoman into a female cadre stationed in the village who has worked hard and complained, always using "happy work and calm life" as a guide to action, enhancing the sense of gain of the poor masses, winning the sense of achievement in poverty alleviation work, being recognized by leaders and comrades at all levels in cities, counties and townships, and praised by the people in difficulty and their counterparts in poverty alleviation.
If poverty is a disease, love can cure it
Liu Fusheng, a poor household, has his own disability, and his wife has a first-degree mental disability. Son Liu Feng is 16 years old, daughter Liu Yuan is 12 years old, a man with two children, life is terrible. The childhood of the two dolls is scattered in the mountains, the grass, the crops, and the mud. In the summer of 2015, Su Li learned that Liu Fusheng could not vacate the old house because he had no money to rent a new house. Immediately led his teammates to his home, patiently advised him to move out of the dangerous house, braved the rain to come to the town, and sewed new bedding for the Fusheng family at his own expense, and purchased pots, pans, chopsticks and other daily necessities. The walls of awards for children in the old house are a testimony to the children's hard work. Tidy up with the kids and stick it on the wall of your new house.
In the fall of 2017, Liu Fusheng was hospitalized. In the autumn harvest, there were only the thin backs of Liu Feng and Liu Yuan's brothers and sisters. Su Li looked in her heart, like her own mother, taught them to cut their nails, wash and change clothes frequently, and pay attention to hygiene; taught them physiological common sense and health care knowledge during their youth development, and correctly viewed psychological and physiological changes; guided them to establish a correct outlook on life, values, and world outlook, know good and evil, understand gratitude, and learn from examples, and encourage them to face the difficulties of life with positive sunshine.
In 2018, Su Li produced a growth album for Liu Yuan, recording the child's life and learning situation in the past 6 years with nearly 100 photos, letting the child bid farewell to the poor gray childhood and give her a colorful childhood memory. The brothers and sisters have a grateful heart, proud of their disabled father, diligent and studious, and positively face the short ups and downs and poverty.
In February 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic prevented children from going to school normally. Su Li gave the computer at home to the two children of Fu Sheng's family, explained the knowledge of computer use for them, paid for the network cable, and gave away the U disk to ensure that the children could take normal online lessons. Each of their essays is carefully revised, from the content, paragraphs, and rhetorical techniques of the essay to the correct use of standard symbols and the writing method of the essay, tutoring the child like a school teacher. After the school began, Liu Feng's grade ranking was advanced from 65th to 50th, Liu Yuan's grade class ranked first, and when the brothers and sisters gave back the award certificate and bonus to their father, Fu Sheng burst into tears with excitement. He said that during the epidemic, Su Li "invited" good teachers from all over the country to her home. Her husband visited them with clothes, globes, thermos and other school supplies, and her daughter bought chocolates with pressed money, cakes, biscuits and candies for her younger siblings, and also opened a small love class to tell historical stories to the children in the village and teach paper-cutting handicrafts. Mother Su in the children's mouths, every voice shouted into the depths of Su Li's soul, she always firmly believed: if poverty is a disease, love can be cured.
The lazy man metamorphoses in the name of love
There is a well-known "lazy man" Liu Xueshan in the village. Liu Xueshan lived alone for many years, the bedding on the kang was never sorted out, the cave wall skin was smoked black, the ground was full of debris, the circuit was pulled to the door of the house and did not bother to pick up, the only "electrical appliance" in the home was the rusty flashlight. "One person eats enough to feed the whole family" is his ideal in life, and he is known as the "old single stick". After being persuaded by the repeated visits of wang Dianxi, the director of the paired support cadre, and the team stationed in the village, he was willing to accept some help, all of which was seen by Su Li. In 2018, Su Li took her daughter, carrying milk, biscuits and other clothes, to the home of the elderly. The child puts the word "Fu" written with a brush to the door and window, cleans up the house for the elderly, and sings to him, so that the elderly can experience and feel that although there is no child or daughter under the knee, there is also the warmth of the next generation's love and companionship. The hopeless look in the old man's eyes was gradually awakened, and there was a smile on his face.
Later, Su Li took the home visit of the old man in Xueshan as a "common meal", helped him clean the courtyard, cleaned up the indoor hygiene, the rice in the pot, the quilt on the kang, the rice in the tank, the water in the cup, the vegetables in the field, and the clothes on his body became Su Li's daily must-check, and she guided and encouraged him to agree to the transformation of the old house. When he lived in a newly renovated house, laid out a new quilt, felt the warmth brought by the national poverty alleviation policy, and enjoyed the many conveniences brought by household appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines, he understood that happiness was like this. Su Li personally practiced and touched Liu Xueshan with sincerity, so that the "lazy person" Liu Xueshan had a change in thinking, from passive to active, from lazy to diligent.
Su Li pays attention to the poor elderly, cares for poor children, is willing to bend over for them one more time, leans over more, asks more questions, moves more hands, captures the small details of life, and makes the fireworks in life a good situation for poor households to get rid of poverty. From publicizing the people's police to the poverty alleviation cadres stationed in the village, she did not have a thrilling feat, and with a pure heart, she infected the police around her and touched every difficult people. She regards the villagers of Liujia'an as her relatives, tries every means to solve the difficulties in life for poor families, and always adheres to the front line of poverty alleviation, and is known as "the most beautiful orchid flower blooming on the plateau of northern Shaanxi".
