Macao, 14 Dec (Xinhua) -- The 7-day Second Macao International Film Festival and Awards Ceremony came to an end on the evening of 14 December. Zhen Zidan was awarded the International Film Star of the Year, the film "Hunting Season" co-produced by Argentina, the United States and other five countries won the Best Film Award, and the Chinese film "Wolf Warrior 2" won the Asian Popular Film Award.
The Chinese film "Burst into Silence" won the Special Jury Prize, and the lead actor Song Yang won the Best Actor Award; the Best Actress award was won by Jesse Buckley, the actress of the British film "The Beast"; and the Best Director Award was won by Legrand, the director of the French film Guardianship Battle. In addition, the festival also presented the Best Screenplay Award, the Best New Actor Award and the Macao Audience Award.
German actor Juddü Chiel was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award.
With the theme of "Screen Feast And Drama like a New One", this year's Macao International Film Festival set up units such as "Competition Unit", "Screen Event", "Ten Faces Ambush", "Universal Film Festival Overview", "Classic Confrontation" and "Special Screening".
During the Macao International Film Festival, more than 40 Chinese and foreign film masterpieces were screened here, and film industry exchanges and other activities were held.
