What kind of competition can bring two big names to the scene? On the same day, the 3-day "Be a Good Master, Build a New Era" 2021 National Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports System Staff Table Tennis Competition Finals ended here, and 358 athletes competed for 5 championships.
The competition was jointly sponsored by the China Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports Trade Union, the China Table Tennis Association, the China Employee Development Foundation and other units, and hosted by the Hunan Provincial Education Trade Union. There are mixed team and singles competitions, and singles are divided into boys and girls and middle-aged groups according to age. Zhou Nong, deputy director of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress and chairman of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, attended the closing ceremony.
At the closing ceremony, Ma Wenge, who is not old in the sword, also had on-site discussions and exchanges with the champion players of this competition, and Wang Kun, the champion of the women's youth group and a sister in Changsha, was fortunate to get this precious opportunity.
"Although I was not yet born when Mr. Ma won the world championship, as an amateur athlete who played since childhood, I knew his status and brilliant achievements in the Chinese table tennis scene for a long time. I feel a special honor and joy today!" Wang Kun, from the Beijing Municipal Education Union team, is actually a native Xiang girl who graduated from Chang county middle school in 2013 and won the mixed doubles championship of the National Secondary School Championship. He studied at the China University of Political Science and Law and stayed on after graduating from graduate school last year.
Wang Kun said that this was the first national event he had participated in since he joined the company, so he began to prepare for the game a month in advance, because he practiced too hard and injured his arm before the game. "To tell the truth, I was a little scared to participate in the competition with injuries, but going back to my hometown to fight is different, I feel very solid, and I forget the pain when I fight." In this competition, Wang Kun passed the hurdles all the way and won the championship with an excellent record of total victory.
After the competition, the Jiangsu Provincial Education Technology Trade Union won the mixed team championship, the men's youth group championship was won by Chen Shaozhuo, the representative team of the Heilongjiang Provincial Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports Trade Union, and the champion of the middle-aged men's and women's sub-group, which was won by Li Haixiang, the representative team of the Jiangsu Provincial Education Technology Trade Union, and Zheng Xiuqin, the representative team of the Shanghai Municipal Education Trade Union.
