Kuwait is sandwiched between Saudi Arabia and Iraq, originally a desolate location in Basra, which belongs to the Ottoman Empire.

The British merged Baghdad, Mosul and Basra into Iraq in the Middle East and appointed Faisal as King of Iraq. Faisal passed on his son Ghazi, but King Ghazi died unexpectedly in a car accident, and his son Faisal II succeeded him as king at the age of 3, and his uncles Prince Abdul and Said took power and implemented pro-British policies.
