"STARCAST" came to the temple of art in Seocho-ku on the 11th. We met DongYu and Saint Gui in the waiting room. After confirming the practice process, we started our interview.

First, let's take a look at what "In the Heights" is about. This musical is set in the Washington area of north Manhattan in New York city, using elements such as rap, hip-hop, and hip-hop to introduce the story of the lives of local residents.
Saint-Qui plays Benny, who works for a transportation company. Dongyu transforms into Usnavi, who runs a small supermarket. Both men are poor, but at the same time two good young people who love life.
I really think it's amazing. The trainees have been practicing for 3 years, and now they are practicing again. Sheng Gui and Dong Yu had been watching the stage book during their breaks. Check each other to confirm the acting skills.
☞ STARCAST ( hereinafter referred to as S ) : The first performance was in 2015, right? If you want to compare it with that period, what do you think?
SGwe: I'm playing the role of Benny for the third year. But in fact, it has really become more comfortable. Acting is also more natural than before, right?
Dongyu: I am much more confident. Finding out all that was previously missed is now being strengthened. Become a stage to make yourself more satisfied.
S : How is it different from the previous stage?
Shenggui: The actors have changed several times, and now it seems that he is a member of the 8th issue?
East Rain: The part where my partner Vanessa (J-Min) came out. It's more emphasized than it was at the time of the premiere. Scenes of Usnavi, Benny, and my cousin Sony and others cheering together have been added.
Saint Gui: The parts of Benny and Nina have also changed. From a very rhythmic song to a line. But I canceled my previous joke scene and replaced it with dancing.
Dong Yu: Also, it is an emotional drama. Benny and Vanessa also talked to Sony together. Deleting some lines further elevates emotion.
S : A little carelessness can make a mistake, right?
East Rain: Was it discovered? In fact I had a mistake yesterday (the 10th). When my partner Vanessa showed up, I almost turned my head and went somewhere else.
Saint- Gwe: The East Rain didn't look at Vanessa at all. I caught him. (Haha). Also, it's the same as "Salute!" "Cheers together, he didn't do it, hurry up and reflect ~!
Dongyu: Okay, I'll go and reflect right away!

SDGwe: I haven't made a mistake so far. Now if another actor makes a mistake in his lines, I'll improvise according to what he says.
DongYu: Anyway, the experience is getting richer. Improvisations have become more natural now. But even then it cannot be taken lightly. Still trying to learn.
☞ S: How do you feel about each other's acting skills?
Shenggui: I think the East Rain is really full of energy. This is where I should learn the most. He usually does this, but as soon as he takes the stage, he becomes more luminous. Under his influence I also became very energetic.
Dong Yu: Saint Gui often surprises me. As soon as the brother was on the stage, he immediately changed like a person. I like the way he's loyal to his role as a musical actor.
Saint Gui: My usual feelings fluctuate a lot. Usually at this time I will go to find the east rain. Tell him "I should stay with you, I need some positive energy". So I'm really happy to be able to participate in the show with Dongyu.
☞ S : Listening to you, you can feel your love for musicals.
Senggüe: Yes! I really like musicals. Watching musicals and performing musicals both made me feel funny. So in addition to "In the Heights", he also participated in many musicals. "Dracula","All Shook Up","Gwanghwamon Love Song"...
East Rain: Musicals are not NG arts. Acting, singing, dancing, stage, etc. can be seen all at once. It also has a core story, which I think is the best art that can move people.
