Today I will talk to you about North Korea, because the author just returned from this country some time ago, and I still have something I want to talk to you about.
First, like the Korean countryside in the 80s
When I first entered North Korea, I had the feeling that I had gone through several changes of the times. Because it's really too different from China, especially in rural North Korea, where the roads are barely visible.
Most of them are those sheep gut trails. People can only walk or ride bicycles through these roads, and it is almost impossible to drive a car.
Countless times on this road, fortunately it didn't rain, otherwise the rain would have fallen on these potholed dirt roads, and my shoes would have been dirty and unreadable.
In addition to being able to see many people walking on bicycles, you can also see many people pulling ox carts. Is this really not the 80s? These images are really almost impossible to see in China.
2. The highest hotel
The building was built in 1987 and is 105 meters tall, and I can't believe how the people used to do it, after all, the technology and tools were not advanced at that time.
It is understood that it was funded by Egypt to build it, but then it did not continue for some reason, so now everyone comes here to see a building that has a good appearance, but the interior has not been completed.
3. The highest memorial tower
This monument is in the center of the capital, and friends who have the opportunity can go to see it specifically, and it is a very representative building in the local area, so it is worth it.
When you arrive, you will find three statues of people under the memorial tower, and they do not refer to certain three people, but to three groups of workers, intellectuals and peasants.
IV. The highest Arc de Triomphe
Usually we hear the most about the French Arc de Triomphe, and in our opinion, the French one is already very large. But what I didn't expect was that the Arc de Triomphe on the North Korean side was 10 meters higher than the French one, and finally 60 meters high, which is really exaggerated. I don't know if they just like to compare with other countries, or if they really want to make such a building from the bottom of their hearts.
In any case, it is not easy for a country with such a small area to have so many of the world's best. So for whatever reason, we don't have to think too much about it, just visit well.
5. The deepest railway system
It is not an exaggeration to say that this is an underground bomb shelter, the deepest place can reach two hundred meters, and no system in the world can reach such a level.
Usually, when you take the escalator down to take the subway, it usually doesn't take more than one minute, but it takes three minutes to get here, which shows how deep it is.
6. The largest stadium
This building has a total area of more than 200,000 square meters, and if there are really so many people coming here, then it can accommodate a total of 150,000 people, which shows how big it is.
Usually the thirty exits of the stadium that everyone sees are already a lot, but there are more than 80 here, so even if there is really any accident inside, it may be quickly evacuated. The style of the whole building is parachute-shaped, which is very good from the perspective of this era.
The capital of the DPRK is relatively modern
Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, is really very different from the countryside, and what you see in the city is the same as what you usually see in China, with greenery on the side of the road, cars on the road, and so on.
In addition, the roadside is full of high-rise buildings, no longer those tile houses in the countryside. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, there really would be no way to accept that North Korea, with such a modern capital, would have such backward rural construction.
Usually in China, everyone sees all kinds of people and cars on the road, some riding bicycles to relax, some riding electric cars to work, and so on. But in North Korea, most of them are on foot, probably because it is too difficult to wear clothes.
It is also possible that the pace of life of the locals is not fast, so they are not in a hurry. Seriously, if it wasn't specifically told to let us gain insight, maybe we would never know, after all, we rarely take the initiative to understand.

You will find that North Korean women wear very fashionable clothes, not only skirts with high heels, but also a bag in their hands. But women and men are different, relatively speaking, they will be very simple, and most of them are workwear.
Although it is true that the country will lag behind compared to other places, it is a great improvement compared to a few years ago.
