On the evening of November 30th, the celebration party for the 50th anniversary of the famous cross-talk artist Zhao Yan was held at the Grand Theater of the Palace of National Culture in Beijing.
This is an internal performance, organized by the China Broadcasting Arts Troupe, where Zhao Yan works. In advance, I thought that it belonged to the cross-talk special like the 60-year performance of Wang Qianxiang and Li Zengrui before, but when I arrived at the scene, I found that it was actually more like a comprehensive party based on cross-talk performances, not only cross-talk, but also opening songs and dances, Henan pendants, solo singing and chorus.
Entering the hall on the first floor at 7 o'clock in the evening, several big brothers and sisters in their sixties and seventies were taking a group photo in front of the background board of the performance, and asked me to help take a few photos. When I inquired, I learned that they were all comrades-in-arms of Teacher Zhao Yan in the Heilongjiang Corps in the 60s and 70s, and now they are all white-haired.
The whole performance lasted more than two hours, and more than a dozen programs, including six cross-talk, zhao Yan and his brother and other actors performed together. From the perspective of cross-talk alone, if you talk about the program and performance, it is actually not very exciting, after all, most of the works have been heard and seen by the audience, but for me, this kind of performance with a strong nostalgic nature cannot be measured by the absolute excitement of the program.
I have heard the passages they say, and I have heard them more than once, and some of them were even able to recite the whole paragraph, but when I saw the figures of these actors and heard their voices, I was already very satisfied. Moreover, in addition to seeing these cross-talk actors, I also saw more familiar faces of that era.
Next, I will focus on photos and review last night's performance in the order of performance. Among them, I took pictures, and there are also professional photographers Yang Ming--many of the pictures of interviews with cross-talk actors that I have sent out during this time are also taken by him. In the following performance photos, the angle of my photo lens is relatively fixed, and it is biased towards the long-range, and those multi-angle close-up photos are all taken by Teacher Yang Ming.

After the opening song and dance, zhao Yan, the protagonist of the day, was invited to the stage. All three people on the stage are surnamed Zhao. Male host Zhao Baole has been doing hosting work for many years, in fact, he was also a cross-talk actor in his early years, and he met Zhao Yan in 1984 when he was in the Qingdao Qu Art Troupe. At that time, many cross-talk actors, including Zhao Yan, participated in a high-level national cross-talk competition in the local area.
To the accompaniment of drum music, many precious pictures flashed on the big screen. The cross-talk predecessors in this black-and-white photo, except for Hao Aimin in the upper right corner, have now passed away.
In the middle of the program, several narration links are arranged, and the younger cross-talk actors pay tribute to the senior actors. The first group of narrators to appear are Wu Bin and Wang Tong. Wu Bin was the disciple of Li Jianhua, a cross-talk actor who later appeared on stage, and worked with Li Weijian; Wang Tong was Feng Gong's apprentice, who had partnered with Jia Ling. Two people on the stage said, cross-talk development for so many years, have you ever seen a special performance for the actors?
Hao Aimin and Zhao Yan performed the cross-talk "Dialect Talk", which is actually the "Ningbo Dialect" we originally heard. When I was a child, I often heard this work, and then I saw people in Ningbo talk about it, and the other party said that the pronunciation in crosstalk was not very accurate. In any case, seeing the performance of Hao Aimin, who has rarely appeared on stage in recent years, I still feel very cherished.
After Zhao Yan entered the radio rap group that year, he first cooperated with Jiang Kun, and then cooperated with Hao Aimin for a period of time, and then later partnered with Ma Ji.
Zhao Yan and Wen Shuping performed Henan Pendant "Honest Man". Zhao Yan did not just follow master Ma Ji to learn cross-talk in the regiment, but also came into contact with many forms of music and art.
The second group of narrators Are Jin Fei and Chen Xi. Jin Fei is the apprentice of Wang Qianxiang, who performed on stage that night.
Li Jindou and Li Jianhua performed the cross-talk "Shandong Second Reed". As a praise-winning Li Jianhua, his performance when he was young was very distinctive, and he had a kind of clumsy and clumsy interest, especially when he made the photo make it particularly in place, and he was good at using the baggage, and he also won the first prize of the praise that year. Li Jianhua was Tang Jiezhong's apprentice, and Tang Jiezhong was Ma Ji's old partner before working with Zhao Yan.
Over the years, Li Jindou often performed this "Shandong Second Reed", which is of course not fresh, but he can still feel his singing skills on the spot, and it is not too much to describe it with a high-pitched and loud voice. You know, he's already an old man in his seventies.
Wang Qianxiang and Li Zengrui performed the cross-talk "Labor Trumpet". The two of them performed another version of the same name when they were young, this time a version of their master Ma Ji. I have heard the original version of Ma Ji and Yu Shiyou's performance many times, and although the content is far from my own life, the singing rhythm in it is very attractive. In fact, this work has a lot of action presented, and seeing the performance of the Xiangrui group also makes up for the regret of only listening to the sound of the work and not seeing the picture before.
Wang Qianxiang, Li Zengrui, and Zhao Yan were all ma Ji's apprentices, and they called Zhao Yan Shi brother.

It was Wang Jingyu who was speaking. I was a little excited to see him, because I hadn't seen him in many years. He is a pantomime actor, now called Mime, an old colleague of Ma Ji and Zhao Yan. In the first CCTV Spring Evening in 1983, he performed the hilarious pantomime "Eat Chicken", and there was a unique and interesting series with Ma Ji and Jiang Kun. In the spring of 1990 he performed the pantomime Weightlifting. Wang Jingyu is now old and needs support on and off the stage, but when it comes to his interactions with Ma Ji and Zhao Yan, he can't stop for a while.
Song art writer and actor Zhao Lianjia. Most of the audience knows him through the spring evening he performed with Wang Gang in "Tooth Extraction", and Song Dandan performed "Lazy Man Blind Date", in fact, he is also a music writer, who has created a large number of works. He is also over eighty years old this year.
The old man wearing the bib is Han Lancheng. He was also a disciple of Ma Ji, and most of the audience saw him through the Quyuan Zatan in the 1990s. He and Dejiang performed the "Smart Drama" series, which was more attractive at that time. More of his work in the program group is planning, and the famous "Lausanne Learning Art" is planned through his participation.
Zhao Yan and Liu Wei performed the cross-talk "Polite and Polite". This is a work created by Ma Ji in the late 1970s, performed by him and Tang Jiezhong.
The two division brothers performed this cross-talk again, which was also a tribute to the distant mentor Ma Ji. This cross-talk needs to bow many times to the actor, which is difficult to say and easy for Zhao Yan, who seems to have never been thin.
The third group of narrators are Dong Jianchun and Li Ding. They were all Li Zengrui's apprentices.
Feng Gong appeared. The unsurprising "I think of you" seems to never be tired of saying or listening to.
Feng Gong, Jia Xuming and Cao Suifeng performed "I Love Poetry 3", which is a sequel to the Spring Festival Gala work a few years ago, and Feng Gong has also performed many times in the past two years.
Feng Gong, one of Ma Ji's most famous apprentices, has now retired from the radio rap group and enjoys playing short videos tirelessly, and his popularity is still very high.

Once again, zhao Yan, dai Zhicheng and Zheng Jian, as well as his righteous son Fu Qiang and apprentice Zhang Gang performed the classic group cross-talk "Five Senses Contending for Merit".
This is a popular work, performed at the CCTV Spring Festival Gala in 1987. Ma Ji plays the head, Feng Gong plays the eye, Liu Wei plays the ear, Wang Jinbao plays the nose, and Zhao Yan plays the mouth. I had this cross-talk tape at home, and after listening to it countless times, I was able to recite it all.
This time, Zhao Yan played the head, Fu Qiang played the eye, Dai Zhicheng played the nose, Zhang Gang played the ear, and Zheng Jian played the mouth. Say one detail. In the original version led by Ma Ji, Liu Wei, who played the ear, said a wrong line, "three six nine and so on" became "three six nine top", which led me to think that there was such an idiom when I was a child. This time, Zhang Gang, who played the ear, corrected the lines.
Yin Xiumei appeared. If some of the cross-talk clips of the night were performed relatively flat, Yin Xiumei's singing pushed the party to a climax. She entered the China Broadcasting Art Troupe with Zhao Yan on the front and back feet, and Zhao Yan was called Zhao Yange. She said that many of the performances of the art troupe that year, she was on the stage as the second to last, that is, the penultimate, and the final axis was Ma Ji and Zhao Yan. She did not rush back to the backstage after each singing, but stood on the side curtain to watch the performance of the two with relish.
According to the program list, Yin Xiumei sang "Song of the Yangtze River". Then, at the strong request of the audience, she had to return to the scene. When deciding on the repertoire, I silently read "I Love the Snow of Your Saibei" or "Motherland, I Will Always Love You". She ended up singing the famous "On the Field of Hope." As we all know, the original song of this song is Teacher Peng, but Yin Xiumei's singing is also magnificent and absolutely overwhelming.
